There are free shuttle service links the Fiumicino Airport terminals with the long-term car parks. The airport is located 26km (16 miles) southwest of Rome. The Fiumicino Airport has several rental car agencies; Auto Europa, Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Italy by Car, Maggiore, Sixt and Targa Rent all have desks in the Domestic and International Arrivals halls. There is public transport available to all. Rail: There is a Leonardo Express train service to Rome's Termini Station. Taxi: Taxis to the centre are readily available; passengers should only take a licensed metered taxi. Bus: Terravision Shuttle services run to Rome Termini and Tiburtina daily, with connections to the metro A line at Lepanto. COTRAL runs a night service to Rome Termini and Tiburtina daily. Car Parking: Multi-story car parks are directly linked to the terminals via pedestrian walkways; the long-term car park on the motorway from Rome to Fiumicino is served by a shuttle bus to/from the terminals.

There are limited spaces at Fiumicino Airport Terminal A and B for short-stay parking. Information desks are located in each terminal. Along with disabled passengers' lounges are available in all terminals. When booking a flight, passengers with disabilities are asked to specify the type of assistance needed. Parking spaces for disabled passengers are available at the long-term car park and on the first level of multi-storey car parks B and C and the fourth level of car park D.
