Clean and spacious hotel with good facilities and well placed for sightseeing.birthday celebration trip with 2 60yr olds and two sons 26 and 29. hotel and location was sufficient for all our needs.
This reservation was made some 9 months previously as the hotel had 2 twin bedded rooms availble for our holiday window.upon arrival we were given 2 double bed rooms. we were met with a shrug and a brick wall when i showed the booking confirmation. took the edge of our arrival.

This hotel is very cozy warm place. price is good in this area.and people are just so nice.
everybody well speaks english and friendly. breakfast is good with fresh coffee.
If i have to say something here, then i'do say not super quiet at night. you hear some noise from other rooms or outside. also the front is not easy to find for the first time. they should put sign on the first floor. i told them so.

The hotel is quaint, if you want a place to lay your head that is close to the termini then this is a pretty good place for the price. the owner is very nice and tried to get anything you need for you. the bathroom is very small and the shower leaked but we were not wanting a 3 or 4 star hotel or we would have booked one so don't expect that. it was clean with a t.v. and it worked. breakfast was wonderful but not alot of variety.
The hotel is very hard to find. look for the double doors that are closed with a little sign to the left of them. you have to ring in to get access, that's probably a good thing. also, the windows are not sealed so there is a lot of outside noise you can hear.

We chose this hotel because it was close to termini station and it was just 5 minutes walk. wonderful greeting and our room was on the same floor as the desk so no steps to climb. i ws with my son and we had a huge king size bed and a single bed which was fine. the room was clean and the air-con worked a treat. the bathroom had seen better days but it was clean and the shower was really powerful and hot so no complaints there. for breakfast you could have cereal, fruit juice (that diluting kind they use abroad), as many croissants, pain au chocolat or crusty rolls as you wanted with butter and a variety of jam. the cappuchino was great too. considering how cheap this hotel was for rome, we thought it was great value for money and although not exactly posh, it was clean and for all the time we were in it, just fine.
The hotel was not all that easy to find because our street was not on all the maps and the big neon sign is at the corner not above the hotel itself. the street and view from our window was a bit smelly. the room was dark but everyone keeps the shutters closed during the day to keep the room cool so not really a problem. bed was pretty hard but linen cleaned regularly. no other complaints.

The sheets were clean.
The massive discounting on east-to-book was a misrepresentation of the standard of the hotel. it was very shabby and run-down and the buffet breakfast was the worst we experienced in 6 weeks in italy.

Rome has been substantially cleaned up, so the neighborhood is no longer shady as previously described, it is like being in any other big city. you are around the corner from bus, subway and train stations. the rooms have been redone and are very nice with daily maid service. you get delicious cappucinos and a selection of various croissants and rolls for breakfast with butter and spreadable cheese, as well as cornflakes, milk and juice. the hotel is very secure.
Only one staff member spoke english, he worked in the morning so if you don't know italian well the other staff are not helpful in any way. the hotel says it is quiet, but the walls are superthin and when there was a baby there we heard everything. however most guests do not bring in children that we saw.
