 "Great Stay and value for money"
The hotel was great, staff were friendly and spoke english well. Very helpful with directions and any requests we had. I would recommend this hotel. It was easy to get to from the airport, the aerovus stops about 600 m from the hotel and getting into central Barcelona is easy. The hotel could provide toiletries and tea and cofee in the rooms.

Pros: The staff were courteous and very helpful. the location of the hotel was ideal for us - quiet and residential neighbourhood not too far to get into rome centre and this enabled us to enjoy the buzz of the city and retire to the calm of the hotel.

Cons: I asked for an iron & ironing board to use as my partner had flown in from the uk & his clothes were creased. i was told they did not have them as they had a laundry facility. firstly my partners clothes were clean & secondly we checked in late friday afternoon & the laundry facility was closed. a ironing facility would be great or if not at least advertise to future customers online the lack of this service.

Opened in 2007, the Barcelo Aran Mantegna Rome is located in a residential area full of tree-lined avenues, just a short walk from the via Cristoforo Colombo and E.U.R., and at about 5 km from the historic centre of the capital. Fiumicino Airport, the Colosseum and Roman Forum can be easily reached and the traditional Trade Fair of Rome is just around the corner.

Housed in a majestic six-storey building in steel, marble and crystal glass, Hotel Aran Mantegna's interior design and decorations are original and give a spacious and bright atmosphere to the whole structure. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities designed to enhance the comfort of each guest: a 24 hour reception, high speed Internet point, a bar, two restaurants, a conference centre for up to 1000 people and a garage.  The congress center offers 5 meeting rooms which may be divided into 18 smaller rooms and a professional technician team to grant the success of any events. Parking is also available on site at a fee.

Sumptuously furnished, the 323 rooms at Barcelo Aran Mantegna Rome are equipped with all modern technology to offer the maximum comfort. The special circular shaped design of the ceiling speeds the light in various colours (red, yellow, blue) and the halogen lamp next to the beds allows reading without disturbing the roommate. The air-conditioned bedrooms are furthermore fitted with an en-suite bathroom and include a minibar, safe, direct dial telephone and flat screen television. Wake-up calls service is also available.
