"I love this hotel"

excellent staff who were so helpful. The location is quite good which cost just about 8 to 12 euros to the city center by taxi. The breakfast should be improved a little bit. The apartment was clean and quite cozy although it was a bit cold in the living room. I will definately come back when I go to Rome

"Rome Short Break"

We stayed at this aparthotel for 4 nights at the beginning of April 2012. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The 2-bedroom apartment was large & spacious for the 5 of us but the main drawback was the location - it backed on to a very noisy local train track which ran throughout the night. The Vatican was in walking distance of 10-15 minutes which was great.

"Excellent value if you like it a bit more comfortable than usual."

Of course we are not talking about a cheap base to just sleep to explore the city.Although being within 10 minutes walk to St. Peter's place and 10 minutes to St. Peter's regional train station connected to the city's major public transportation network, it is an excellent basis too.But besides that it offers plenty of space to also relax without feeling locked into a cage like in so many other even expensive hotel rooms.Seperate large bedroom, living room, kitchen sum up to 74 squaremeters plus two balconies. That alone says much.But I did not even use the kitchen, as the rich breakfast of large variety gave a good start for the day, and later you will want to try the restaurants of the city instead of cooking.So for a family (with children) the accomodation will be even more convenient.There is only one negative aspect: located between the train railways and a major street, to invest in some noise reduced windows may be a good future investment.But it is bearable.

Pros: The aurelia residence san pietro hotel is an excellent place to reside when visiting rome. we were very pleased with the close proximity to the vatican city and public transport system. the staff at the complex are friendly and exceptionally helpfull. of our stay in italy, aurelia residence was by far the highlight of our trip in relation to accommodation.
Cons: A lot of care should be taken when exiting the complex by foot as it fronts directly onto a busy roadway with only one footpath on the oposite side of the road.
