Black Hotel Rome Location (Map)
Black Hotel is located near Via Aurelia, an ancient Roman road about 7 kilometres away from the Basílica of Saint Meter. Access to it is very easy as there are good connections by city transport.
The 'Cornelio' metro stop is only 500 yards away from the hotel and the Aurelia train station is 10 kilometres away. The hotel offers public bus service to and from the metro station. Also, about ten minutes away by car, guests can enjoy a golf course.
How to reach the Black Hotel?By car: The hotel is easily reachable from the Grande Raccordo Anulare, exit n.1, Aurelia. Then follow the white sign "Alberghi".
By train: From the Termini railway station take metro line A towards Battistini and get off at the Cornelia stop. Then take bus n. 246 and get off at front of the Panorama supermarket.
By airplane, from Roma Fiumicino Airport: The airport is connected with the city by highway or by a local train service called Leonardo Express, leaving every 30 minutes for Termini station. From the train station, follow the directions above (by train).
By airplane, from Roma Ciampino Airport: The airport is just a few bus stops away from metro stop Anagnina. From there, take metro line A towards Battistini and get off at the Cornelia stop. Then take bus n. 246 and get off at front of the Panorama supermarket.

Smart rooms and fab pool were good positives of the hotel. be prepared for everything being pretty dark - the clue is in the name!The location is not great for sightseeing. the information incorrectly stated 500m from metro station with a free shuttle service from the hotel. however, the metro is 2500m which we discovered after we tried to walk to it after missing one of the two shuttle buses on a morning!18 Feb 08

Excellent staff who spoke good english and were very helpful. hotel is very modern and clean.Nothing negative about the hotel only its location is a bit far out of the center.but its only a 10 minute bus ride and 10 mins on the subway.although the hotel do offer a free shuttle bus to the subway station.07 Oct 07
The design is striking - room/bed very comfortable - staff are friendly and helpfulBasic services missing for a 4* hotel. no 24hr room service - could not change money. very hard to find in the dark. not easy to get into the city. 16 Sep 07

Rooms were clean. food was not bad, but the menu did not change over the 4 days we were there and the choice is restricted. breakfast is good.Distance from central rome is tiresome if you are on holiday. the hotel's daily bus transfer only takes you to the nearest metro station. taxis fares to the centre of town ranged between 12 and 25 euros.28 Jul 07
The breakfast was buffet style and excellent. the room was bright and clean and very modern. the staff were very helpful and polite. after a day sightseeing it was perfect to return and use the hotel pool and relax.Half the time the toilet didn't flush and the evening meals weren't really worth what it costs (like most places in italy i suppose) but i would go back to this hotel again.
