Hotel was ideally situated. We could walk everywhere from there. Friendly staff, no complaints. Plenty of places to eat nearby and of course the Trevi Fountain. The wi fi could be free but that is so minor.

"Fantasic location, about a 30 second walk from the trevi fountain and close..."
Pros: Fantasic location, about a 30 second walk from the trevi fountain and close to all other sights.
Cons: Have to pay an additional £20+ for city tax at the end which i was not expecting to have to do. also the coffee machine at breakfast was awful!
Pros: The location was really excellent. staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: I would prefer more variety for the breakfast. perhaps tea/coffee facilities in the room as well.

"Cleaning staff were supurb"
Pros: Cleaning staff were supurb
Cons: We booked a superior room with a king size bed from the 25-29 march and then a double room for 29-30march, at half the price... we had a double room from 25-30march? we will be visiting rome 4 times a year now as we are opening a franchise from italy in sa, we need to stay near via del corso and the location of boutique trevi is ideal but we have to question the value for money

"The junior suite was very nice, with plenty of room for my husband,..."
Pros: The junior suite was very nice, with plenty of room for my husband, daughter and me. the room was very clean, modern and comfortable. great location near the trevi fountain and restaurants in walking distance to many sites. nice breakfast with great coffee.
Cons: The front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful.
"- central location from where it is easy to orientate and walk everywhere"
Pros: - central location from where it is easy to orientate and walk everywhere.
- the luggage porter was the only staff person who presented you a welcoming feeling, was friendly and helpful.
- massaging bath tube: comfortable after a day´s walking
Cons: - lack of information: they don´t know anything what happens in the city, no information/brochures/advise on any cultural events, juts "go and seek it yourself from the (terribly slow and clumsy) internet". the only brochure they had was last year´s brochure of one (1) tour organiser with very limited alternatives.
- room (single): smallest ever, dark shades. in the hotel brochure their marketing sentence "in every room there is a splendid view over the rooftops" is a lie: the only "window" opened to an ugly tiny backyard from where you could not see it it is a day or a night. when i told the reception that their comment is untrue they just shaked their shoulders. the first room they had reserved for me was still uncleaned 7 p, when you arrived so you had to change room.
- service attitude: what service?
- lack of attention/hospitality: i had my 50th birthday anniversary and told it to them in advance, asking for advise for concerts/tours/etc. whatever to do in the evenings. but they couldn´t care less. nobody even congratulated me: not the reception guy who handled my pre-booking and took my passport (with this date), nor his colleague giving my passport back the next day.
- internet: not available in public area, only in the rooms where you could pay extra trying to use the internet via tv, terribly slow and clumsy mouse, view oversized for the picture so you had to move the arrows back and forth all the time to see the whole page. facilities: the internet keyboard batteries where old and didn´t work.
- breakfast: tiny and noisy location in the cellar level was not an appealing start for the day, so consider booking breakfast to your room (that was free, a plus).
- price value: so much for next to nothing, they just storage the customers for the nighttime and it is not their headache if you enjoy your trip with maximum potential and have interesting time.

"Excellent location - could walk to most attractions"
Pros: Excellent location - could walk to most attractions. rooms were of a good size and well equipped.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit sub standard with no towel hooks and shower fixture in need of repair
"I arrived late in the evening and was greeted by a friendly & welcoming..."
Pros: I arrived late in the evening and was greeted by a friendly & welcoming reception manager that was expecting me and was prepared for my arrival. i had a single room & was very impressed with the space and the furnishings. my room had a balcony overlooking a residential neighboorhood. the temperature was cool at night, and it was very pleasant leaving the terrace door open to have the cool, fresh air. the bathroom was modern with marble walls, shower & floor. quality amenities are provided. the location is great with easy access to metro, buses & taxis. it is the perfect location for walking to all the major sites of rome. boutique hotel trevi is a fantastic hotel, and i will continue to stay at the trevi. i would recommend this hotel to any type of traveler.
Cons: There was not one thing negative about my stay at the boutique hotel trevi
"Hotel trevi is in a fanastic location, they have a big king size bed, and..."
Pros: Hotel trevi is in a fanastic location, they have a big king size bed, and put us in a quiet upper floor room as requested, overall great hotel
Cons: Internet should be free
"The hotel is in an excellent location just metres from the trevi fountain"
Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location just metres from the trevi fountain. there is no vehicle access but it is a very short walk from the nearest drop off point. we booked a family room that was very spacious, although the decor was a little dated. the bathroom was functional but again a little dated. all in all tyhough we would definitley go back.
