"Fantastic staff were very informative about the nearby facilities and spoke..."
Pros: Fantastic staff were very informative about the nearby facilities and spoke perfect english. they were always friendly and happy to help. the room was really nice, expecially for such a good price. the breakfast was refreshing as they offer pumperknickel and seeded bread (a healthy change from the standard crossiants), although they also offer plenty of crossiants, packaged bread, coffee, juice and tea for guests. very good service by the breakfast staff also. location of hotel was very conveniently close to train and bus station (5min walk) and the area felt very safe to walk through solo at night.
Cons: No laundry service, but they offer great directions to the nearest laundromat.

"The location, location, location! and the staff were very kind and generous..."
Pros: The location, location, location! and the staff were very kind and generous with information of the city with ready maps and a print out of what we could do in rome for the 3 days - like an itinerary. and they actually paid attention to the note i had put in during my booking and were willing to change our originally allotted room. very nice people.
Cons: Nothing really, except that breakfast in all of italy in budget hotels suck! not sufficient and i won't buy 'for the price' argument because our experience in amsterdam in a cheaper hotel and in munich was very very very good.
