Hotel Des Artistes is located in the centre of Rome near the main railway station Termini, underground station and bus terminal. This accommodation is situated in a quiet street. All major sights, museums and shopping areas in Rome can be easily reached on foot or by public transport from the hotel.

The hotel is well linked with Rome's public transport; metro station 'Castro Pretorio' is around the corner and Termini Station is just 5 minutes away on foot. Des Artistes is perfectly linked to both Roman airports as well. You can reach the Ciampino Airport by coach from Via Marsala, whilst Fiumicino is linked by a shuttle train running every 30 minutes from Termini Station.

How you can get to Des Artistes

From Termini station: The hotel is at 5 minutes walking distance from the railway station. From the arrivals hall, take the side exit on the right and turn left onto Via Marsala. Take the first street on the right (Via Vicenza), then the fifth on the left. You've arrived in Via Villafranca.

From Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci Airport: Take the Leonardo Express train direct to Termini Railway Station. The train leaves every 30 minutes from 6:37 am to 11:37 pm. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Tickets cost € 11.00 per person. If you arrive very late or very early, you can take a Cotral night bus for € 5.00 per person to Termini station. This bus leaves at 1:15, 2:15, 3:30 and 5:00 am.


From Ciampino Airport: Ciampino is a small airport just outside the city. Ryanair and Easy Jet flights arrive here. The fastest way to get from Ciampino to termini is the Terravision bus. The tickets cost around € 8.00 per person and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. First morning departure is at 8.40 am and last evening departure at 00.20 am.

Alternatively, you can take a Cotral bus from Ciampino to Anagnina underground station and take the underground from there to Termini. The cost for this solution is € 2.00 per person (luggage cost not included) and the journey takes about 60 minutes.

Cons: During booking, we were not informed that we paid for a budget room w/o attached bathroom. we were told only upon checking in and paid the extra for having a standard room with attached shower. the website should have indicated budget room (with shared bath), then we would not have inconvenience ourselves then.
