Reviews on Domus Betti Rome
In partnership with
Cons: Only to non italians - seemed very volatile, but all italians are like this.
Cons: One of the rooms i stayed in was next to a bathroom used by multiple rooms, and the water heater was in my room, so when anyone would take a shower or wash their hands, that would turn on, and it was loud. that was annoying at 7 am.
Cons: - when we arrived we had to stand outside and wait for about half an hour because the man who ran the hotel was not in and ended up having to get a stranger to try calling him using an italian mobile until he turned up.
- we did not have clean towels all week or our room cleaned for all 5 days because we were told the maid had already left at 10am when we left our room for the day
- the description said all the rooms were en suite and then found out through reviews just before we left that they were not and so was then worried that we would not get one of the rooms with an en suite but luckily did
- i would not recommend this hotel to anyone
- it also says that it is a bed and breakfast which it is not
- in the morning the manager of the hotel would be talking on the phone really loudly in the corridor when we were trying to sleep
- he also asked us not to complain about the b&b before we left
i was also charged twice on my credit card, but the owner said he could refund the card and wanted my bank details instead, i declined wanting cash instead, but this took 2 days to arrive, not very professional.
Cons: Advertised as b&b, but no breakfast available, which is a bit misleading for australian travellers.
Cons: I booked (and paid for) a room with an en-suite bathroom. the room i received had a bathroom that was at the end of the corridor, i.e. not en-suite, and i had to walk past the owner and anybody else to get to/from it. i am very annoyed because i wanted an en-suite. if i'd known the room did not have an en-suite (even though the hotel / website said it would), i would have gone elsewhere
Cons: No
Cons: That hotel doesn't have air condition and it was extremely hot inside, specially during night. hotel doesn't support even a shower soup or gel (there was only 1 very small piece of soup which last for only one shower). owner looks like he wanted to sell every little voucher he has(open tour bus tickets he wanted to sell for £2 more than on a market). be honest i won't recommend that hotel to anyone. it wasn't worth the money!
you guys have to give a better hotel description in future. i enjoyed my holidays and weather!
Cons: None.
Cons: It was a sharing bathroom, i hate it.
Cons: The only minor thing was that there was no shampoo provided in the bathroom.also the sockets are not the same size as spain so probably visitors from england may also need to know this.
Cons: The only down side was that first impressions of the b&b was very poor, it seemed dull and a little dirty on the street.
Cons: If i could add 1 thing to the room it would be a kettle & coffee, although the owner would make you a coffe it you wanted one.
