How to reach the Hotel Emmaus?By public transport from Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci airport: Take the Leonardo Express train to Termini Railway Station.
By public transport from Ciampino Airport: Take the bus to Anagnina, then take metro line A to Termini Railway Station.
By public transport from Termini Railway Station: take Metro line A to Ottaviano San Pietro. Coming out of the metro station, walk down Via Ottaviano to Piazza San Pietro – you can’t miss it – it’s the size of a football stadium and it has the magnificent St. Peter’s Basilica overlooking it! Continue to the other side of the piazza and go straight on, across the main road Via di Porta Cavalleggeri and onto Via delle Fornaci. The Rome Hotel Emmaus is at number 25.
By car:
The hotel is easily reachable by the G.R.A.-Grande Raccordo Anulare, exit 1, Aurelia. Follow the indications for Vaticano.

Location is wonderful to vatican. hotel is older but is kept clean. owners were very nice. gelato/coffee shop right next door was great and friendly. no problem with the hotel, wonderful family owns it.
Beware of any of the restaurants in this area, they pray on the tourists by upcharging for everything you order. try to get a few blocks into the neighborhood away from the vatican wall where these restaurants are positioned. directly across the street from the hotel emmaus is a restaurant called postiglione...do not eat there. even the hotel owner said they are dishonest. they claimed they could not take our credit card for the meal because the phone lines were down...huh?? they were just trying to save the 2% cc fee. just watch them all around there because they will abuse the tourists with their upcharging and prices. Good friendly and helpful staff. great location with good local restuarants.very clean and tidy.Cleaner woke us up 2 mornings in a row at 9am. room was above the kitchen so a little noisy in the mornings otherwise all was greatAnonymous

There is no positive experience in this hotel we had a wheelchair and the lift is so small it would not go in unless folded,which was a great imposition to us.the quad room had no privacy as all the beds were in one room with very little space in between,with a wheelchair it was inconvenient.The breakfast was very poor,and the day we were leaving the lift wouldn.t work and we had to carry the luggage down the stairs.all in all it was very unsatisfactory and would not reccommend this hotel to anyone in a wheelchair.Anonymous

There were 4 college students traveling together. this was the perfect location to the vatican and we all felt very safe. the staff was very helpful, especially luigi. they spoke english very well. the room was clean... and big! we were all very happy with our stay! The noise from the street was very loud, but you would get that anywhere in a big city. Agenbroad2
