I will never stay in hotel Emmaus again ! No complete set of toiletries were provided.. We paid 120 euro per night, too expensive for a three star hotel . They even charged us for the bottle of water. It was stated in their confirmation that mineral water will be provided! The front desk was most of the times rude in answering our queries. Even the lady who was in charge of the dining area during breakfast seems do biased. She would treat other guest with a smile- I think those guests are from Europe , we're from Asia . 2 star hotels in Berlin and Amsterdam are much more a pleasant place to stay in!!!!

Very nice traditional-style hotel wonderfully close to the Vatican. Extremely friendly service. Walking to the major sites throughout Rome, as well as the bus and metro lines. Taxi stand directly in front.

The hotel was in a great location, with great restuarts near by.The rooms were cleaned daily and staff very friendly.The gentlemen on rec were most helpful and recommend places for us to eat and visit,The only thing I would say was the rooms were a little dated, needs decorating.The noise level from the road outside was loud.really enjoyed my stay and would use the hotel again.

Pros: Nice location close to vatican. safe area even late in the night. can reach after a good 15 mt walk from otaviano metro station.walk through the pietra and across the underpass to the main road, as soon as you come out cross the road and the hotel is nearby. there are a few pizza places across the road and on the side of the hotel- closes by 11pm. small shop selling fruits is at hand. breakfast is typical continental- croissant, yogurt, coffee/tea, cereals(2 types only)jam and butter spread, orange juice(one of the best i have tasted!!!!). has a quaint lift. rooms are neat but not posh maintaining the period features(mosaic floor, quaint windows etc)neat tiolet, daily change of towels, had hair dryer and airconditioner, small tv( cnn was the only english channel available). receptionist was very helpful. taxi rank just outside the hotel(never used it). is a good 1.5 km walk to the vatican museum and st angelo's castle.
Cons: Bed sheet was not changed although new towels were given everyday. could be a bit noisy from the movement in the corridor may be a problem if ur a light sleeper; hot water flow was thin in the shower although the climate was good during my stay and preferred a cold shower after my daily walking tour of the city.

Pros: Great location about 100 meters from st peters square.
Cons: No baggage service, ancient lift, only 2 enlish tv channels, noisy rooms, wall paper falling from walls, most i ever paid for hotel for about the worst results, unless location is only issue.
