The Fontana Hotel is a small and romantic hotel, set in the heart of Rome in a building that was once a 16th century convent. The Trevi Fountain is visible from any of the front windows of the hotel. The hotel is so close to the Trevi fountain that it is possible to toss a coin from the guestroom window, offering the possibility to enjoy everything the eternal city has to offer right outside the front door.
This hotel is the only one located on Trevi square just in front of the Trevi fountain. All the major monuments and points of interest are within walking distance and the fountain is the starting point for all city tours. Europe's biggest internet café is only 400 metres away and on the square it is possible to find a pharmacy, bank, grocery store, restaurants and various shops.

Cons: I was charged far more than i was expecting from my confirmation from yourselves. the rooms were tiny, the bathroom facilities were very poor for a twin room.the first room we were given was down a back alley,almost stretching distance from the building opposite. the shower cubicle was miniscule with only a curtain, which did not reach to the floor, flooding bathroom.double plug socket was literally hanging off the wall.given a better room after complaining but told we would have to move later in the week.had 2 share a bed with my adult daughter. massively wrongly starred, needs a refurb and update. hotel employees need a visit to a hotel with good service. it's no good charging the earth for poor rooms and facilities because there will be no recommendations. i will definately be going on trip advisor. might trick me once.i don't have the confidence in you either now.
Cons: The front of the building is being repaired. could not see fountain as result. no one told us before we arrived. not good.
Cons: Storage space was a bit limited but that didn´t bother us as we only stayed for a couple of days.
