How you can get to Hotel Alius
By car:
The hotel is easily reachable from any point of the Grande Raccordo Anulare, connected to all main highways; follow the indications to Roma centro and then to Termini station. It is forbidden to enter the area where the hotel is located by car, so guests can park their car close to the Termini railway station and reach the hotel on foot, by taxi or by one of the several bus lines available.
By train:
The hotel is 600 metres from the 'Termini' railway station.
From Roma Fiumicino airport: Take the Leonardo Express, leaving every 30 minutes, to 'Termini' station.
Form Roma Ciampino airport: Take the bus from underground line A terminus Anagnina to 'Termini'. It takes about 20 minutes.

Cons: Toilet in room was difficult to use as it was suspended too high up. we were in room 10 & we could hear the front door bell & the lift mechanism.
Cons: Dificalt to find eating places near by
great location, handy to the subway and buses and short walk to most attractions
Cons: Small rooms, a triple is really just a twin room with an extra bed added (all beds are single beds by the way)
Cons: Would be nice if one could check out at 12am insted of 10 am.

Cons: I thought it was expensive for what it was, especially as it was not that central. the breakfast was nearly always the same: fatty and sugary and lacking in any fibre. every day, the same cheese and salami for the white rolls !
Cons: Difficult to get wifi in the rooms at the end. walls are not very thick; we could hear laughter from the next room.

Cons: The double bed was two small, hard cots pushed together. they really need to invest in better bedding. the room smelled very much like they had used a lot of vinegar in their cleaning solution (strong smell). the sound traveled greatly from the hallway to the rooms and vice versa, so privacy felt limited. the wallpaper was old and outdated. still, these things are what you expect so we did not let it bother us much.
