"Enjoyable stay"
Room was small but cosy. Triple room. Double bed and bunk beds which s fine for a family room. There was a smell from bathroom but after telling staff this was resolved. Rooms where very clean an warm with tv an phone. We stayed on third floor, there was a lift but only took 2 ppl at a time as it was small. Breakfast was ok too. Location was great with some nice little places to eat with reasonable price list (€13 for 3 corse) within easy walking distance to most attractions including tremmi station. I hope to return to trove next year an will be staying at this hotel again

"Location was excellent"
Pros: Location was excellent. this hotel made walking to most major sites very easy.
Cons: Hotel staff was very hit or miss; some helpful, others acted rude/annoyed that we would even bother asking questions or expect them to help us. our biggest complaint was probably the noise. this hotel was very loud. hotel staff started cleaning rooms at about 8-9am and were talking loud, slamming doors, etc. we were on our honeymoon, stayed up late, and wanted to sleep in. we had staff knocking on our door by 10am most mornings. one morning they didn't knock and let themselves into our room while we were still sleeping. i've never dealt with this ata hotel before. it made for an uncomfortable stay because we felt we had to be us early and out of our rooms so that the cleaning staff could get in.

"24 hours reception, good english speaking, nice and quiet but in still in..."
Pros: 24 hours reception, good english speaking, nice and quiet but in still in the center. bus stop in front of the hotel.
Cons: Breakfast could use some fresh cheese, very much sweet things.
"The hotel is in a great location, the photos dont lie it, the collesseum..."
Pros: The hotel is in a great location, the photos dont lie it, the collesseum really is that close! the bedrooms were basic but they have everything you need. ours was next to the breakfast room which was great also! staff were very friendly and didnt have any real problems.
Cons: The television did not work in the room which would have been nice to watch whilst getting ready but wasnt a big thing so we didnt complain. our sink also must have had a leak in as i put some flowers into the sink and filled it up and 2 minutes later the sink was bone dry again so this wasnt good. breakfast was very basic but as a couple on a budget, it was better than spending 30euros on breakfast!
however we were not told about the tax charge that had to be paid for every night and day that we were there, giving us hidden extra charges for our holiday, for the weekend it cost us an extra 12euros
