Hotel Antico Acquedotto Rome Location (Map)
The Hotel is located in a calm and green central neighborhood in Rome. The hotel is located at just few meters from the Ancient Roman Claudio Aqueduct (which construction began in 38 A.D. under Emperor Caligula and was completed by his successor Emperor Claudio), and walking distance from Porta Maggiore and the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. The hotel is also near to the Basilica of San Giovanni, the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and Termini central station, from which it is easily accessible by bus number 105 or by the “Met.ro” tram (the 2nd stop after Pone Casilino: “Villini”) which runs along the Claudio Aqueduct.
How to reach the Hotel Antico Acquedotto?By plane, from Fiumicino or Ciampino Airport: Take a train to Termini Station and follow the directions below. Arrived at the Termini Station from the Airport of Fiumicino or Ciampino, or in train, it’s possible to choose between 2 types of transportation in order to reach the hotel.
By train, from the railway of Termini Station: Reach the contiguous “Stazione Laziali – Met.Ro.” and take the local train “Ferrovia-Roma-Pantano” and get down after five stops at the stop “Villini”, which is located at about 30 mt. from the hotel.
By bus, from Termini Station: Take the bus no. 105 and get down at the first stop after the stop “Ponte Casilino”, stop “Sant’Elena” or get down at the second stop after stop “Ponte Casilino”, named stop “Alessi”: both these stops are about 100 mt. from the Hotel.
By car, from Porta Maggiore: Take Via Casilina. After 500 metres, at the traffic lights, turn left to Ponte Casilino. Turn back into Via Casilina on the right. After 300 metres, you will see the first tree-traffic-divider; turn left and the hotel is there.
