Friendly, professional and very helpful staff. individually styled, well decorated rooms.
Was very disappointed that we were not able to stay in hotel bolivar for our first night due to "electrical probelms" within the hotel. they arranged an alternative hotel in a different part of town that was satisfactory (clean etc) but was not in the same class as hotel bolivar.

This hotel is very well placed for all the historic sites.2 mins from the trevi fountain and 10 mins from the pantheon. also it is very close to the coloseum & forum being 15 min walk. the rooms are small but beautifully done out and very clean.we stayed in room 216 which over looked the front courtyard. very quite location at night. breakfast was a good choice for a continental style and the setting in the roof garden was lovely with good views. staff were excellent english speaking and arranged an imediate transfer to and from the hotel.
If i was elderly the entrance on foot would be an issue because on one side there are steep steps and the other a narrow cobbled street.

Helpful and very friendly staff. very central location and within walking distance to all the attractions. breakfast was excellent.
The water in the shower was unpredictable, took ages to heat up and went cold very quickly.

Very well situated hotel in the old part of rome.
We stayed three nights, but the first night the hotel was overbooked, and they sent us to another hotel. (was closeby though and was a nice hotel)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. the location was excellent. the hotel generally looked very good and modern.
There was no shower curtain in our room, which meant standing in the bath and having a shower entailed water going on to the floor! no iron in the room which i would have expected for a 4 star hotel/b&b.

Very very expensive comparing to the old and small and very very poor facilities , what is your definition of 4 star hotel? anyway i never cancelled the hotel but they cancelled my reservation and charged the credit card which i did not want to pay with it and when i arrived they send me to another hotel down the street. next point about your site is if the cancellation policy is 48 hours or 72 hours before arrival why the hell you do not mention it at the point of payment? because when i reserved it and i found out that it is very expensive and 5 minutes later i called the hotel they said they will charge 360 euros for the first night and that was the reason i did not cancel the damn hotel and i told them that i am comming but they had already chrged my account and rented the rooms to someone else so when we arrived late at night they send us to another hotel down the street . i really liked the easy use of your site but this way you destroy the trust of me . another point is that before i reserve the bolivar hotel from your site i had reserved another hotel and when i was finished they called me from rome and told me that the hotel is already full and when i called your agent in london at the beginning she did not beleive me and she said she will call the hotel and that is the hotel that should give my money back so this way of treating the customer also is damaging . about the bolivar hotel when i reserved it and i found out that i made mistake your agent told me that is up to hotel to accept the cancelatiaon and when i called the hotel he told me no that is up to you and he was complaining that why you sais so and he did not accept to cancel it and made me to go to that hotel and that was the way they treated us . i appriciate you for asking these questions but honestly i doubt i will ever again work with you or suggest you to any of my many freinds. best regards

The hotel staff were very helpful and polite, nothing was to much trouble. a lovely welcome awaited us.
Just a little bit tight for space, with four of us sharing.
