1) There should be clear map on website to reach the Hotel, as it is very difficult to reach.2) Water should be hot for bath.3) Variety should be there for breakfast and not only bread / cake.4) TV should have some English channels also.

Pros: Very close walk to the colleseum, on a nice back street with not many people. easy cab ride from the airport, very tourist friendly and all the employees spoke enough english to guide you where you needed to go or help you with whatever you needed help with.
Cons: The rooms although nice and stocked with a mini bar smelled really bad, and you could hear animals making noise all night even with the windows closed

Pros: Hotel is about a 5 min walk from the colleseum and metro, the room was clean and the bathroom was a good size
Cons: It was the smallest hotel room i have ever stayed in, the bathroom door when opened hit off the 4ft bed, there was about a foot and a half at each side of the bed to walk... and that was it! there were no facilities that i could see, no bar.

Cons: We didn't actually stay in the hotel edera due to a problem with their air-con. however, they transferred us to another hotel in their chain about a mile away which was very disappointing. the hotel was old and tired, the room was very small and the decor was incredbly outdated. it was not a particularly pleasurable experience staying in this hotel and i wouldn't recommend it to others. our room overlooked another building and so we didn't want to have the curtains open to look at this, therefore the room was very dark. the website made the hotel looks very modern - this was not the case at either the hotel edera or the hotel fiamme.

Cons: As this is the 4th time we have stayed here i feel that little has changed over the years - the hotel appears tired and in major need of re-decoration. breakfast quality has gone down - installation of machines for tea/coffee at breakfast is not as good as the old pot of tea or freshly brewed coffee. rooms we were allocated were not doubles as booked - more 3/4 - in fact the 1 room had the bed against the wall so someone trying to get out would have to climb over their partner. showers leaked over the floor - general state leaves something to be desired. i emailed the manager 24 hours before leaving but received no response.

Good location, nice clean rooms

The Edera Hotel is situated in a spendid 5 storey building that has been completely renovated in a modern and functional style. The hotel’s position in a central area of Rome makes it an ideal starting point for nice walks around the historical districts and the city park of Colle Oppio with its famous ruins of Domus Aurea.

Hotel Edera Rome welcomes you in an elegant and refined atmosphere. The hotel features a breakfast room and a bar as well as a very nice garden and a parking place for guests’ cars. The hotel has 55 well furnished and comfortable rooms all with independent heating and air control systems. All rooms are sound proofed.
