Hotel Eliseo is situated at the very top of the Vai Veneto, within walking distance of most of Rome's historical sites and with its unbelievable view on one of the most beautiful villas of the city (villa borghese). The hotel is an elegant and welcoming property, ideally situated in the vicinity of the exclusive via Veneto, adjacent to Villa Borghese and close to the famous Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The Barberini metro stop is situated only 600 metres from the structure, offering guests quick and easy access to the rest of the city.

How to reach the hotel?The complex is easily accessed via the Grande Raccordo Anulare which is connected to all the main highways. Follow the directions from any point of the Raccordo to the centro and then to Termini. Since the area where the hotel is accessible only by authorised vehicles, it is advisable to leave your car there and take the subway to Barberini station.
By train:
From the Roma Termini railway station, take underground line A in the direction of Battistini, and get off at the Barberini stop, only 600 metres from the hotel.
By airplane:
The Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino airport is about 26 km from the hotel and is well connected to the city by highway and express train service.

Hotel eliseo was well positioned for getting around rome. the barman was excellent. he had worked at the hotel for 23 years and really worked hard at making customers feel special. the breakfast was excellent and the view from the dining room on the 6th floor was breathtaking. it is what makes this hotel stand out.
Proximity to some 'adult' establishments gave the area around the hotel a sleazy feel. the hotel is overdue for decoration giving a slightly dated and shabby feel. always frustrating that continental hotels don't include tea making facilities in the room.Anonymous

This hotel doesn't look as a 4 stars hotel. furniture in the room were very old and broken. air condition was not working and with opened windows it was impossible to sleep due to the permanent nooise in the street. no room service.Sue Fielder

The dining room was lovely, it had a wonderful view, the staff were fluent in english, were very friendly and mannerly and kept the hotel in lovely condition. they helped in any way possible and provided us with loads of information on rome. they ordered taxis for us and never ceased to make us feel welcomeThe rooms were not as impressive as advertised on the website they were a bit outdated but well worth the money and very clean, at first i found it hard to find my way as i thought it was not very central but after a few days i realised it was very centralAnonymous

Friendly staff and good location.Room very dark, decor very tired and keenly in need of updating, much more than a lick of paint required. no room service!! only local tv available (+ cnn). had long wait for table at breakfast, tables not clean & on sunday food ran out as did plates and cutlery. looked so much better on the web! Excelente el desayuno, la habitación agradable, el servicio de transporte en bus es bueno pasan al frente, muy bien ubicado, cerca a muchos restaurantes y almacenes .Si, yo llevaba una tarjeta para mis llamadas internacionales y gran sorpresa me lleve que el uso del telefono lo cobran segun mis cuentas a 1 euro por minuto, yo habia preguntado si el uso del telefono tendria costo me dijeron que no, el minibar no tiene la lista de precios. el metro queda muy lejos.MARIA LUISA FREIRE ESTEVEZ

Todo resulto fenomenal sobre todo en cuanto a la situacion, bajando la cuesta ya estabamos en trinita dei monti, escalinata plaza de españa, y en 20 metros en la esquina via venetto, maravillosas terrazas, sobre todo "harry´s bar",un incunable y con cantante genial, justo en la esquina, y al lado "sweet life", heladeria-cafe bar, y lo mejor !enfrente de la puerta hotel eliseo, todo el día, el bus 116! a todas horas nos llevaba a campo de fiori, vaticano, etc. volveria sin dudarlo, además el personal encantador, y el coctel-bar en el hotel no cierra hasta que se vaya la ultima persona a su habitación.La cafetería donde se desayuna, piso 6º y ultimo, muy chula con mesas redondas y terraza con vistas vaticano pero el cafe lo deben de hacer con agua grifo y es intragable, riquisimo el chocolate. es escaso para una persona que quiera variedad aunque nosotros nos arreglamos, los bollos pan muy ricos, y embutido ponen jamon serrano, queso, york, tambien algo de fruta y cereales. el desayuno es lo que tienen que mejorar porque lo del cafe es fundamental, por lo menos para mi.Anonymous

Hotel céntrico con muy buena comunicación, tiene muy cerca una parada de metro "barberini" y justo en la puerta esta la parada de autobus del 116 que te conecta con los sitios más turísticos de roma.
la atención excelente, las habitaciones muy amplias, limpias y con unas vistas fantásticas.
es de destacar la panorámica desde el salón del buffet situado en la última planta con vistas al vaticano.
