Good locatio and very very clean
There was scaffolding up outside the front of the hotel so the windows of rooms on that side had the shutters and windows permanently closed - very claustraphobic. also had concerns about fire-safety as there seemed to be only the main entrance and no other fire exits. a couple of times over the 2 night break there was nobody at the front desk, and the front door was locked so we had to wait for someone to let us in - this was inconvenient, but would have been fatal if there had been a fire in the hotel

This hotel was in a great location and the staff was very helpful. would stay again if travelling to rome
We had a room with a window onto the stairwell and there was no dressings to keep the light out.

The hotel is in a good location which is only 10 mins walk to the coloseum. we went as 2 couples. my friends' room was nice and clean. we got our rooms on the first floor as requested.
My hotel room was covered in cigarette smoke which i initialy thought was came from outside since the window was opened when we first got there. however after the first night, we realised that the smoke was in the furniture and bedding. when asked the hotel for another room, they automaticaly told us that there was no room available but the one on the 5th floor (yes, it has to be the top floor of a hotel that has no lift). so we stayed another night in a smelly room 'cause we didnot want to spoit our holiday by arguing with them. not very good customer service.

Very well located hotel, knowledgeable and friendly staff and reasonable value for money
Limited facilities including some bits not working in the room, no tea/coffee etc. breakfast was very basic. our room was 5 floors up and no lift so would be big problem if we had mobility problems

This hotel is in an excellent location, 3-4 fine cafe's within 3 minutes walk of the hotel. hotel is 10 minute walk from termini station & tour bus starts its route just across the street. we found the hotel to be very clean & the staff very friendly, couple that with the excellent location and it made our stay very easy and enjoyable.

Hotel was easy to find due to google maps. hotel was only two blocks away from the main train/metro station in rome. the room was clean and i was given a double room when i was booked for a single. i didn't eat the breakfast so i cannot comment on that. there is free internet downstairs that you are able to use, but only from 9am-9pm. the clerk at the front desk will glady help you out though after hours.
No elevator and i was on the fourth floor, that is no problem for me, but might be for others. i would recommend this hotel for couples on a budget but not a family.

Hotel staff was excellent and very helpful. the room was clean.
I stayed in a single room. a person larger than myself (63 inches tall and 120 pounds) could never fit into the bathroom. as i sat on the toilet, my knees touched the wall. room faced a noisy street.

The staff is excellent, multilingual and very welcoming/accomdating. they answered all of our questions, allowed us to choose a room that fit our expectations and had good suggestions for places to eat. there is free internet access which makes life easy. the breakfast was good and cozy. rooms were very clean and quiet, beds comfortable, and bathrooms nice. location was very convinient for the train station although a little far from central roma. great value for the price. will recommend to others and likely will stay there again.
Not really negative comments but note the location is close to the train station but a good slightly up hill walk from roman forum and other parts of rome. but still great location. we stayed on the 4th floor which was 4 flights of stairs so if you cannot climb stairs as there is no elevator, make sure to ask for a room on the 1-2 floor. also note some rooms are not located in the door with the reception desk but accessed via the door next to it. not a problem but would consider requesting a room that is near the breakfast room which will put you on the 1-2nd floor.

If you're after location then you should consider this hotel. it's right in the centre of rome and very close to the metro so getting further away is really easy. hotel was clean, staff were great.
In our double room there was a very thin door (which was locked) through to the other room, at night if you're unlucky enough to get inconsiderate neighbours then you'll hear them whilst trying to sleep

The staff were very friendly, our room was lovely and had a terrace. easy to walk to lots of attractions. good breakfast. really enjoyed our stay here.
We didn't mind, but older travellers should note there is no lift for part of the rooms and they'd need to use the stairs up 2 floors.

Good location
If its your first time in rome, the hotel staff is not the best people to ask them for what to do? or how to do? they are not well informed. the shower was a mess. the hotel has two buildings, if you book you dont know in which building you are staying, however the rooms are clean and acceptable.
