Hotel Hiberia is one of the oldest hotels in Rome in its kind. The 3-star hotel houses in a recently renovated building in the historic centre of Rome. The Trevi Fountain is found in close proximity of the hotel, with other attractions such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Quirinale Palace.

How to reach the Hotel Hiberia?Directions from Fiumicino airport (Leonardo da Vinci):
You may take a taxi from the airport, at the cost of appox. EUR 45 – 60. You can also catch the train "Leonardo Express" to Termini Station, at a cost of EUR 11 per person.
Directions from Termini station:
We are about 1,5KM (one mile) from Termini Station.
Here are the alternatives to reach us:
a) By taxi: Leave the station from the front Exit and go to the Official Taxi Rank. Official taxis have a light on top and code numbers on the side door. Do not go with anyone that comes up to you in or around the station area that offers to help you with your luggage telling you to follow them to a taxi - it may be costly!
b) By bus: In the area in front of the station there is a bus park. you can get there number 64, 40 express or 170 and get off at the stop in via Nazionale for the ''Quirinale''. We are just around the corner in via Ventiquattro Maggio at N° 8. Bus tickets must be purchased beforehand, either from a machine near the buses or any newsagents or cigarette shop "Tabacchi'' and cost 1 euro each. You should validate your ticket in the little yellow machine on the bus.
c) To walk: Go out the front entrance and across the bus park and opposite you will find a tree lined street called Viale V. Einaudi which brings you to Piazza Della Repubblica. From there take the main street on your left this is Via Nazionale, walk to the end of this street, you will see a little roundabout with Palm trees, and we are in the turning on the left hand side, Via Ventiquattro Maggio at N 8.

My husband and i stayed with our 2 children in a quad room at the hotel hiberia. the room was a very good size, was clean, comfortable and modern with a jacuzzi and shower and air con, we have stayed in some very nice hotels and were very impressed with this one. also the minibar was very cheap - coke cans 2euros, small wine 4 euros, and the safe was free to use.
the staff were really helpful and friendly and there was a very good choice for breakfast.
the location was fantastic, just 10 mins to most attractions and bus stop just round the corner for further ones. hotel is on one of the quieter streets and accessible by car which was also good as with a lot of hotels in rome you cannot drop your bags off directly outside as they are in pedestrianised areas. we were also lucky to find free on road parking directly outside hotel but only a few places so first come first served. otherwise we were told that there is guarded private parking at a charge close by. would definetly go back, more 4 star.Anonymous

Very typical european hotel. smaller room and bathroom but not uncomfortable. i have definitely stayed in smaller and worse. what sets hiberia aside from other hotels is the great staff and the excellent location. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel was located less that a 2 minute walk from trevi fountain. most tourist sights were in walking distance. A clean, comfortable hotel with helpful english speaking staff in an excellent location. i stayed in a single room which was relatively small but functional and perfectly adequate for the single traveller. the breakfasts were excellent value complete with lots of hot bacon, scrambled egg and sausage. free copy of the wall street journal in english. i first stayed in this hotel with my daughter (then aged 19) in april 2005 when we visited rome to attend the lying in state of pope john paul ii. on that occasion i most most impressed by its value for money, cleanliness, location and the professionalism of its staff. i would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues. Like most italian hotels the lift (elevator) is small, compact, functional and relativley slow. Duarte

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. excellent breakfast.Although charming, the elevator was old and unreliable. the actual room was a far cry form the image that was depicted in your website. room was ok but very plain and not cozy.

Excellent location very close to all major sites...easy to take direct bus to vatican. hotel staff very friendly and helpful and could speak english. rooms very clean and bathrooms excellent. excellent breakfast.
