Staff excellent - we ate most of our meals in the little cafe where we had breakfast. with jet lag we were not too adventurious at night.gledhill

We were greeted warmly by a young man .. don't know his name, but he was not on duty again until the day we left.
This is not what i call a htel.. very disappointed, no sitting room, no decent sized dining area.. had to sit out in rain as there was no space. the room had no air conditioning, so we had to keep the window open(28 degrees ) and the noise from the club opposite went on until 3.3oam. i thought i was booking a special little hotel, not a room.Valentino

The staff were superb. very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
breakfast was also excellent and the location is ideal for the vatican. The bedroom was rather small, but was clean and tidy and the shower was fine. we were awoken a couple of nights by bins being emptied noisily into dustcarts at 5am.Anonymous

Everything was excellent about this hotel. the staff were wonderful, the quad room was perfect for two parents and two older children, and the location near the vatican was ideal. we miss sitting outside eating breakfast and joking with the waiters. Pirraglia

They have 2 different hotels, so we were put in the garden villa hotel round the corner, which was absolutely gorgeous - we were put on the luxury floor, which was lovely. Trying the find the reception for hotel les chambres took quite a while as not clearly signed. it's actually at a small cafe opposite the hotel rooms. the inside of the block for hotel les chambres didn't look very nice at all, although we didn't enter any of the rooms, so very pleased they moved us to their other hotel.Noreen M. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and the staff were nice too. also, enjoyed the pictures on the walls in our room and the halls.Yes, the hairdryer tubing was completely falling apart and therefore was unusable. since i didn't have an adaptor, i couldn't dry my hair. not good. also, the elevator/lift didn't work and we had to carry very heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs. also not good. both were big inconveniences. this is not as big an issue, but they could do something about the wallpaper. it's falling off the wall and looks bad. What a great staff. they all genuinely smilled and were more than happy to take care of us at the drop of a hat. location changed, but this happens in rome. we were a bit further away, but given an upgraded room, and driven there quickly. 2 king sized beds, flat screen tv with both italian and a few english speaking stations. no street noise. very very clean. as far as security, the hotel was a fortress, and had safe availability. continental/italian breakfast was very good, and they allowed us to store our baggage for a half day. did not stay at the hotel booked, but as well as they took care of us, i could not imagine many problems. i would recommend this hotel experience with friends and family. great job staff and owners.Therew were two slight problems. one the hotels could have been better marked from outside, and we could not find a thermostat to change the temperature of the room. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. rooms are clean and large. the location is perfect, only 5 minutes walk to the sint pieter's church and vatican museum. the shuttle to the airport is not free of charge, but easier than the train or taxi.The rooms are located in different buildings and therefore less practical with a larger group. the breakfast area is small.
