Cons: It was difficult to get from the city centre to the hotel after 20.30, because the local bus stops then
Cons: I would not stay in this hotel again. three nights was too long. tiny tiny room, thin walls, could hear the man in the next room snoring, very noisy staff, the wife although a nice lady never stopped shouting, could not talk in a normal voice, even late at night and 5am in the morning, door buzzer going all day and most of the night. did not like the area although within reach of piazza esquilino and santa maria maggiore the piazza vittorio emmanuelle is not nice especially for a woman alone at night.
Cons: We were given a wrong room, so we had to move to 'our' room the next day. the toilets were broke, so we were given a bucket to use to flush. this was however fixed during the first day. no hot water in the shower when we arrived. they do have internet there, but it doesn't reach the rooms in the top floors, plus the code they have handwritten on a paper is pretty much unreadable, we were never able to log on...
Cons: The hotel is a little spartan. ok for sleeping, but not much else.
Cons: Internet which written include.. not there and staff can't spean english
Cons: My one major complaint was that the phone in my room was completely useless to me. i couldn't use an international phone card on it, and therefore spent two weeks using payphones on the street to call the u.s. if you have a cell phone that works overseas, this wouldn't be a problem. also, if you don't speak italian, and expect to need a lot of assistance and help from the management, this is not the place to stay. they are super nice, but no one who is there regularly speaks english.
the best thing about this place is it's location. it is also clean(they change the sheets everyday)and reasonable. the service is good.
Cons: I do not know why it is called a hotel because it operates like a bed and breakfast. the tv sucks (poor reception and no english channel, not one, nada.
Cons: The wireless internet connection did not seem to work.
Cons: On the website it says that wifi internet is available in every room, but there is no internet in the hotel whatsoever. the staff do not speak a word of english.
Cons: Really small bathroom
Cons: Staff talking too loud.
