"The staff are excellent and the rooms are good"
Pros: The staff are excellent and the rooms are good. however, they are small...but nice clean and have enough facilities. the buffet breakfast had a very good selection...coffee was a bit too strong, waiter service was excellent, the staff at the reception are very promt and helpful... the location of the hotel is good handy for local transport, shops and cafes. however, at night you will see unfourtunate people sleeping in the streets- sign of the times.

"Very nice hotel, good facilities, clean & tidy rooms"
Pros: Very nice hotel, good facilities, clean & tidy rooms. very quiet at night considering its very central location which was excellent for sightseeing.
Cons: Bathroom needed a little refurbishment...
Pros: Great location. near the termini train station, near the stop for tourist buses, colloseum within reasonable walking distance, metro station nearby...
Cons: For reasons still unclear to me they could not accommodate me on the first night of my stay. consequently i had to relocate to a different hotel. although the hotel staff did all they could to ensure this transition was smooth it was still inconvenient. no offer of a discount or gesture of goodwill either.

"We found that the hotel location was ideal"
Pros: We found that the hotel location was ideal. it was in easy reach of the main train and bus station (tremini station)which made it easy to get a bus to any of the tourist attractions for as little as €1 for 75 minutes travel. it was also only about 5 minutes walk from the first stop on the hop on hop off bus tours. the room we had was on the 5th floor and looked out on the magnificent basilica of santa maria maggiore which is certainlty worth a visit. the staff were excellent, very helpful and spoke very good english. the roof terrace had a spectacular view of the city and proved to be an excellent dining area. the hotel was very well placed for places to eat out at night. one restaurant we would recommend is the ristorante il condor on via daniele manini with very friendly and attentive staff staff. all in all a very enjoyable stay

"Good location in relation to travel in/out of the city and walking distance..."
Pros: Good location in relation to travel in/out of the city and walking distance to most historical landmarks, particularly the coloseum. a great little family run trattoria is just 50m away, recommended by the hotel staff, which was excellent. the 'executive wing' away from the main hotel was modern, nice and quiet which, for a light sleeper, was a real bonus! equally, the jacuzzi bath was a great way to relax and refresh after a full days walking, before heading out for the evening.
Cons: The room was modern and clean, however, the air conditioning was not operational and it was quite hot for the time of the year that we stayed (early april).would have been useful to have an iron in the room.

"A real nice hotel in a very good location with easy access to train and all..."
Pros: A real nice hotel in a very good location with easy access to train and all central historical sites.
Cons: Beware that the hotel roof top restaurant technically closes at least one hour before the official closing time. after 2200 we could only get a pizza prepared by the waiter - kitchen closed.

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, the room comfortable and clean, the breakfast good for continental europe and the location is excellent. i'd recommend this for city breaks and business
Cons: The room was very warm without any way of really cooling it down. the hotel probably deserves its 4 stars but somehow there's something missing which i can't put my finger on.
