Reviews on Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo Rome
In partnership with
staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Cons: The hotel really reminds me hotels of 1970. the moment you enter the room you feel the smell of the old wood. the furniture is from another era. an old color tv. the window was rusted and permanently screwed to remain open 20 cm. you cannot close or open it more. you can open or close only on the internal glass. not the external blinds. if it was not for the location which is right next to the central train station, i would not have paid half the money i did.
the pillow cases and the sheets were washed and clean.
they had some small holes but this is normal to happen
on sheets that are washed all the time. so that was not
a problem for me.
finally, the bath was renovated recently, but still it was
an old-fashion cheap job.
Cons: No, every thing was perfect
Cons: Lighting in room was not sufficient. no kettle in the room.
Cons: Maid service was not good. the room was clean, but i was not resupplied with clean towels one day, and found a dust rag on my bed on another day. the pillows were like logs, which made sleeping somewhat difficult. the room had wireless service, but the cost was exorbitant, and i was misinformed by the front desk staff about the location of nearby internet facilities which were much less costly.
Cons: The prices in the rooftop bar were ridiculous, it cost 17 euros for a beer and vodka with orange but we weren't told the prices until we went to pay our tab. also our room wasn't ready when we arrived.
Cons: Bedroom very disappointing, bathroom unsatisfactory.
Cons: During the stay the cubicle shower did not have hot water room 223, also 8am friday and saturday workmen started to use a drill in one of the rooms
Cons: Hotel very quiet, day or night not much happening. breakfast not great but better than most i hear in rome.
Cons: The only real negative was the service in the bar/cafe on the roof top, yes the view was good but we found it impossible one night to get a glass of wine or anything so we left and found a local bar.
