Good staff. very clean. easy access to public transportation/attractions.
Rooms were very small. internet access was advertised online as "free," but was not free. shower backed up our first day and flooded the room.

Very clean, good location, less noisy, breakfast punctual, staff generally pleasant.
Appeared to be hidden costs, price quoted at time of resrvation did not reflect actual price paid - £30 deficit. air conditioning in room did not work, neither did hotel safe, not very helpful in assisting us with this. minibar not stocked at any point. on website hotel quoted as having a bar, not the case.

The hotel was lovely overall, very clean, good size rooms, nice breakfeast and very close to the metro and many of the ancient rome. i would highly recommend this hotel to all. the hotel and rome were both wonderful!
The tv in the room only had local programmes on.

The hotel was down a very quiet side street away from the bustle of traffic. staff were very pleasant and helpful and spoke good english. room was very clean, comfortable and warm (which was great as temperature outside in february was very cold). breakfast area was nice and food good (although no fresh fruit or cheese).there is also a lovely roof garden which, although too cold to sit out while we were there, would be great in warmer weather. we would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone.
No.

Friendly and helpful staff .close to manzoni tube station and 10-15 minutes walk from the colosseum .
1. no sky tv and all the programmes were in italian so missed english programmes. 2. when the breakfast room was busy in the mornings it was difficult to get to the toaster and an extra toaster would have helped.

The staff were all very pleasant, breakfast was simple but hearty. the room was nice and clean and it was good to be near a metro station.
The hotel should think about having a laundry room or laundry service for guests. at the very least know exactly where a laundromat can be found. it was very difficult for me to find a laundromat and the staff didn't know of any. i luckily found a flyer on the sidewalk a block from the hotel or i never would have located the laundromat.

We stayed for 5 nights in march - even at this time of the year we were able to sit out on the delightful roof garden amongst the lemon trees, sipping a glass of wine. the staff could not have done more for us, they booked/recommended restaurants, booked taxies, explained in detail how to get to various key places. we had a fantastic evening of jazz in the alexander plaz - great music, front row seats and delicious food. several fun evenings at the romantica - very near to the hotel. there was always someone in reception to help with any language problems, or to let you in (even at 1.30am one night). breakfast was at a civilized time - 8 -10a.m. plenty of everything and again helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble. we even had live music while we dined, one morning, played for us by the lady of the house. the staff were very knowledgeable about the rome art scene, which was of particular interest to us. in terms of location this hotel is ideally situated because the metro is only a 3 minute walk away and enables you (with an 11 euro three day pass) to access any of the major sites within 20-30 minutes. we found the metro very safe, very clean and 'on time'. we would be only to pleased to return to this hotel for another visit. jerry and charmaine alexander uk
