The Hotel Palladium is located in the historical city centre and business area of Rome, 200 meters from "Opera House" and National Roman Museum -Palazzo Massimo-, 800 meters from the "Roman Forum" and "Colosseum", 50 meters from the Basilica of ST Maria Maggiore, 1 km from Trevi Fountain and five minutes walking distance from the air terminal.
How to reach the Hotel Palladium Palace?By car: The hotel is easily reachable from the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring-road which is connected to all the main highways; follow the directions from any point of the Raccordo to the Centro and then to Termini, very close to the hotel.
By car, from Florence: Directly from the highway you will reach the city ring named G.R.A. (gran raccordo anulare). You will see the indications "via Tiburtina, via nomentana". Then you leave the ring in "via Nomentana" direction city centre. You drive for about 10 km on this road till it ends at "Porta Pia", (that's a gate into our ancient walls). From there the street name changes into "via XX settembre". You drive till the end about 1 km then you turn left and reach "Piazza della repubblica" (that's a big square with a large fountain in the middle). When you are there, go ahead to via delle terme di Diocleziano or please ask how to reach "via Cavour" and then turn left to the "basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore" here our street starts, a one way street. Note that we are about 50 meter from the "basilica" and about 250 meter from "Piazza della Repubblica".
By public transport, from Ciampino Airport: Take the bus to Anagnina, then take metro line A to Termini Railway Station. The hotel lies only 200 meters from the Roma Termini train station and can be easily reached on foot.
By public transport, from Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci Airport: The Roma Fiumicino Airport is about 30 km from the city centre and is well connected by highway and express train service. There is a train from the aiport which runs every 30 minutes to Termini train station. Take the Leonardo Express train to Termini Railway Station. The hotel lies only 200 meters from the Roma Termini train station and can be easily reached on foot.

Good location for most sites.most of which were in walking distance.if not there was the terminal for the metro and buses to all areas.breakfast was reasonable but very basicAlthough advertised with a sauna and gym they wanted to charge 16 euros per use.why advertise a gym and sauna as facilities to a hotel and then charge for the use??rooms are clean but dark and dingey.the hotel is at the lower end of 4 star.31 Dec 08

Thought the hotel was extremly well situated and the that the staff were excellentJacuzzi did not work and the room we were allocated was a bit noisy although the hotel did say that we could change rooms as soon as an inside room became available apart from that hotel was really ok27 Apr 08
Close to the termini station- staff was unhelpful and rude. they offered to bring our bags to our room, but 20 minutes i had to go back to the reception to get them myself.
- the facade of the hotel was under construction and there's major renovations happening all around.
- the quality in general reminded a 3* hotel.

Extremely clean and neat, with a very convenient location near the main train/metro/bus terminal. a decent three star hotel.This is definitley not a four star hotel: the hotel is very cramped, the room temperature (hot hot hot)cannot be controlled, and the location of the hotel is somewhat run down with lots of graffito on the walls of the buildings.24 Feb 08
The staff was very friendly, willing to help and service orientated. further more the hotel was well located.The most negative side of this hotel were the beds. in my opinion a four star hotel should provide decent beds, our beds were really hard, so we didnt sleep very well. other point of attention was the climate in the room. it was really hot in the room.17 Feb 08

The hotel was so great our plane had landed early and they let us check in very early our room was ready for us.we went for our anniversary and the hotel staff told us about a great restaurant where they sing to you it was very romantic.it was in a great location for everything.the staff was very nice and the breakfast was very nice and good.i'm going to tell my friends about this hotel:).
