Hotel picaso is a very basic hotel but it is clean, very central, breakfast was nice, yoghurts breads and teas and coffees. the room was small but thats all you need for a city break. had a shower in the room and fresh towels daily.
The room had a tv but did not have any english channels. small negative.

Lovely room, nice breakfast
There is no reception or person atthe hotel day or night - the reception is at another hotel round the corner. this was a problem when two people got stuck in the lift and just by chance we were arriving back at our hotel but they might have been stuck there for a while if we had not found them and called reception to help

The room was clean and staff was very friendly.
The concierge sent my friend and i on a wild goose chase, looking for a restaurant that does not exist any more. very frustrating and time consuming!

The hotel is in a great location.
The room was very small, and this did not appear the case in the internet photos. i am sure many of it's customers feel somewhat shortchanged when they see the actual rooms in person.

I have read some good reviews about this hotel and was convinced by them to make a try. i came to rome by train and got off at termini station (the main train station of the city), and to my surprise, it took me only about 8 minutes walk from the station to where the hotel is located. i tell you, it was more suprising as i found out that the hotel has a free wi-fi connection in every room. the staff were very patient, accomodating courteously all my queries providing me necessary information regarding places, how to book for an opera show and lastly, my departure went well as they themselves called up a taxi service that brought me to the airport....

I had a very pleasant permanence in this hotel. from booking to the location of the hotel up to my stay went on without encountering problems. the room they gave me was precious, i could infact overview the nice viminale plaza where there is a fountain in the center. the hotel is well placed in the center of rome, accessible to any sort of sceneries, shops, bus stops, restaurants and others. for me, i noticed that everything is clean, the bed was comfortable, the white blankets soothed to my tastes and of course the puffy pillows that helped lean my head comfortably. the staff was ready and alert, aside from being warm to the clients, they were very friendly too. they provided me a free map which helped me find my way around the city. any single adjustment can do, infact, the next day that i had to leave the hotel early as 6am the receptionist made a point that i could take my breakfast before leaving, and so he gently served it at 5:30am, i really appreciated it so much. i can highly recommend this hotel to another tourists, besides it’s a very good place to stay. i would prefer to return to this place in the next vacation that i will plan in the future.

Lovely staff, very helpful. brilliant, central, accessible location
Airconditioning repeatedly tripped out all electrics in hotel. made it very uncomfortable for my pregnant wife. no tv remote and herefore no volume control. tiny, cramped, awkward breakfast room.
