From the first, when our bags were carried from the taxi up to our rooms,we found the staff most helpful.they spoke english and tolerated our italian.our room was a nice size, free roomsafe, good shower and cleaned every day.there are two nearby restaurants that are "reasonable" and the bus stops are five minutes away.
The only thing wrong was the daily bus journey into rome, average time 20-25 minutes, but the buses ran every few minutes so there was no waiting around.

We loved the area - shabby chic & much cheaper than central rome. drinks and food are 1/4 of the price and there is a great restaurant opposite (i recommend the wild boar tagliatelli!)and a number of cafe bars around. the bus into termini is every few minutes and 6 stops into the centre, 1 euro ticket gets you anywhere on bus/metro as it is valid for 75 minutes of travel on both/either. the buffet breakfast serves lovely cakes & croissant.
We were put in one of the rooms on the reception floor, which was suitable for disabled travellers and although big, we asked to be moved because the room was really dark, the shower was poor and flooded the bathroom. we were told we could move the next day and then that we could not; then the same the next day. for a four night stay i would have expected better service really. the jacuzzi advertised does not open until may, which was disappointing.

The hotel was extremely clean and staff were polite and helpful at all times. the buffet breakfast was superb. location was nice and quiet away form city centre. when a pickpocket got my wallet on the bus back to the hotel one evening, the hotel staff were so helpful, ringing credit card companies etc.on my behalf. would thoroughly recommend this otel.

Hotel and staff proved to be excellent. location was a little further out from city center than i generally book but the hotel was very quiet which was very much appreciated. i would absolutely stay at this hotel again although i would recomend booking directly with the hotel not through easybook. see below
The only negative to my stay was having to cut my stay short by a couple of days. the hotel was fine with doing this with no penalties unfortunately since i booked though easybook it wasn't their call and i ended up paying for an additional night. definately not happy about that although i certainly can't hold it against sunrise hotel they run a fine hotel.

Helpful and nice staff, most of them at least. the bus stop near byd, the internetcafé round the corner (the hotel had an internet service but was ten times more expensive), the roof garden, airconditioned room, very good breakfast.
The staff forgot to tell me there was an important message for me and did not apologize when i found out and told them. ridiculous high price for using the internet.

The hotel was beautifully decorated & extremely clean.the staff were all helpful, friendly & poite.the buffet style breakfast was excellent with lots of chioces in a pleasant dining room.the roof top jacuzzi was a definite plus point!!there were several excellent restaurants within walking distance & the buses into the city were frequent & cheap.an excellent base for visiting rome without being in a noisy environment at night.
