Pros: Fantastic location - not even 5 min walk to termini station. even though the area around termini is not the greatest, i felt very safe - hotel is set back from the main road and has 24hr reception staff.
Cons: The hotel is perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay but possibly not for any longer than this.

Pros: Staff friendly and very helpful. we asked to change rooms as our room was beside the reception. we were moved to an upper floor without any hesitation. i would stay at the hotel washington again when in rome as the central location was excellent for exploring the city.

Cons: Location was not so good, although close proximity to main railway station etc. was good, the area is a bit seedy and not the best i would probably stay in a diff. location if staying in rome again for considerable amt of time - for short transit stop over would consider stay here again.
