This spacious apartment is located in a stylish building that utilises the materials typical of Roman architecture; terracotta, wood, stone and travertine. The building is typical of the era in which it was constructed and features high ceilings and thick walls. The space has recently been renovated, incorporating some modern touches into the otherwise authentic apartment. The living room is furnished with a sofa bed, additional matching sofa, chairs and a flatscreen television. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals in the apartment and features a dining table with seating for all guests.

This apartment is located right in the heart of the old city centre of Rome just a short distance from the Colosseum and Foro Romano. The Colosseum, opened in 80 AD, is perhaps the most iconic of sight of Rome. For close to 2000 years the Amphitheatre has captured the hearts and minds of locals and tourists alike and is often considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and engineering. The Foro Romano is equally impressive, considered the oldest part of the city and home to several important Government buildings dating from the height of the Roman Empire. Spending a few hours walking around the Forum gives you an idea of the just how impressive the city would have been 2000 years ago. Within walking distance of the apartment are other major Rome attractions including the stunning Trevi Fountain, one of the largest fountains in Rome. This stunning fountain stands 26 metres high and 20 metres wide and it is said that visitors should throw a coin into the fountain to ensure a return to Rome in the future. Just a few hundred metres from the Trevi fountain are the Spanish Steps, the widest steps in Europe and something that must be visited on any trip to the city. From the bottom of the steps make your way to Piazza del Popolo, Northern Rome’s biggest piazza complete with an obelisk, lion sculptures, churches and a beautiful garden located just above. Walking around this amazing city you will be confronted with historic sights on every corner and this apartment is in the ideal location to do just that. If you do need to travel further afield, the apartment is well served by the Metro.
