Kame hall is a lovely place to stay. clean room. excellent location and good for the travellers who like to please themselves. they couldn't do enough for us.
My only negative is that breakfast is not served in your room on a nice tray. you have to go to a cafe around the corner for a coffee and a croissant.

Great location, in the middle of the best things to see in rome. nice room although needs some fixing.
- the description said that we would be served breakfast in the room but instead we were told that we had to walk to a coffee shop near the hotel. it really sucks if you pay 185 euros per night and expect breakfast in your room and instead have to go somewhere else to have breakfast. - in the coffee shop we were told that with the hotel breakfast we can have one cup of coffee or one glass juice but not both. what the ... pay 185 euros for a room with breakfast and you can't even have juice and coffee with your breakfast. - no iron in the entire hotel. - sink with a huge crack on it. wouldn't expect that in a 'luxury suite'

The hotel and room was immaculately clean. the room was simply chic with a shower from heaven in the marbled bathroom... and the most comfortable bed in the world! breakfast arrived exactly on time and was beautifully presented. the staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating.

One of rome's best kept secrets - location, location, location ! with only 4 modern suites exquisitely laid out in a 400 year-old building, it makes for a wonderful stay.
Staff is only present in the morning to serve breakfast in your room and for housekeeping. the rest of the day, you have to be autonomous and know that you can't rely on the presence of hotel staff to direct your enquiries. this was never a problem during our 4 nights stay.

It was interesting at first as this is definately not your typical hotel experience. i was expecting to walk into a hotel and be greeted by staff that would provide the usual "what if"s" of a hotel stay. instead, after ringing a buzzer to the entrance of kame hall suites, we were greeted by one gentleman who was very kind, walked up a flight of stairs and pointed us to one of 4 "suites". after the initial confusion of realizing this was not a typical hotel, i rather enjoyed the experience. it was quiet, private and for the price very pleasant. the room was clean and the breakfast served every morning was good. this is definately a place to stay if you just plan on coming to rome and need nice, quiet and affordable accomodations that you can retire to after a long day of sight seeing. the hotel is within walking distance to most major sites and is generally in a decent part of rome. the television is nice and offers a wide selection of channels.
We found that kame is in such an obscure place that most taxi's we took to get back to kame did not know where it was. we often got lost or turned around trying to find our way back and it is extremely easy to miss because there aren't any visibe signs that advertise the location. it really is just a double door on the side of a building. when we first tried to locate kame hall, we kept passing it without realizing that that it is there. the bathroom was very nice and appeared clean, but had kind of a musty smell that made the entire room smell damp and moldy after a long hot day. leaving the windows open helped. because this isn't a typical "hotel" there are not those conveniences used in a pinch, such as an iron, room service, adapters to convert the electric plugs, extra towels, etc. so bring those if you need them. also, the websites states kame offers internet access, telephone and a mini bar. we could not get the internet to work in our room nor did we have a telephone or access to a telephone. the minibar is just a small refridgerator with a couple of bottles of water.

Clean rooms, good location
Incompetent staff - they agreed to book for galleria borghese and said they had made the reservation; then on the morning of the visit said they hadn't made it because it was closed - it was open. breakfast requested for 7.30 was not delivered until 8.15 making us late for vatican tour, the maid didnt even arrive at the hotel unti 7.45. on arrival only 1 tea bag and no creamer/milk in room. more tea bags supplied, but were then removed by the cleaner! no milk/creamer was ever provided - except with breakfast, so unable to make tea/coffee (unless you like it black!)

It is in a fab location, really clean and lovely fittings.
We were told on arrival that we would need to move roos after the first night which was annoying as we were unable to get settled. the breakfast is not good but probably fair for italy.

Great location. room was a good size for rome. very clean with nice breakfast served in room.
No real reception desk. you are just given a room key to get into the front door and your room. one night our key did not work for the front door and nobody was answering teh doorbell. thankfully i had their business card in my handbag (not sure what we would have done if i did not) and was able to call the manager on her cell phone and she left us in from the phone - a little unnerving though.

Excellent location, lovely large clean rooms with ensuite. breakfast straightforward continental
Not enough input from staff. no one ever available for advice, or to help book tickets etc. we did not know rome well, and a little on site advice would have helped us tremendously. staff were hardly ever present, and did not help. a shame because otherwise this was a lovely place to stay.

We stayed at kame hall for our honeymoon. the location was perfect. it was within easy walking distance to everything in rome. the room was extremely clean, breakfast was ready on time every morning...it was perfect.
Nothing negative, just a warning. the hotel is difficult to find the first time. i recommend using their recommended driver from the airport.

The rooms were very modern and tidy which is a bonus for rome. location was central to all major tourist sites and best eating/drinking areas. staff were efficient and friendly. room facilities including power shower, cable tv and double glased windows were of high quality.
The hotel is about a 20 min walk from the nearest train station if you intend on catching public transport frequently.

The hotel was as central as could be. clean and well maintained.
We requested a car on arrival at airport, but it never turned up.
