This hotel is a real haven of tranquility, yet right on the doorstep of the roman forum and colosseum. lovely gardens to the rear of the hotel where you can enjoy breakfast, dinner or relax with a drink. we stayed in a superior room over looking the gardens and it was really quiet. we even had the only arched window. would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to be close enough to walk to the sights (the hotel is also within an easy walk to the colosseum metro station) but not right in the midst of the noise of the city.Attley

There was a very welcoming and helpful approach from all those i encountered at the front desk. the position of the hotel was ideal for exploring rome and i really appreciated the option of a restaurant for night meals. the meal prices were reasonable the menu range interesting and the service excellent.Anonymous

We were really impressed with this hotel the location was fantastic, on arrival the staff were really frendly and helpful we were early but were able to get straight into our room. the room was really nice and clean as was the bathroom. the breakfast was really nice with plenty to choose from, there is a lovely garden which you can sit in. overall we were really impressed with this hotel and would definatley reccommend it.Miller

I booked in advance and requested two rooms near to each other. rooms given originall were not close but next day we were moved beside the children into a family room which really was super. double room given originally very small, no bath. good for families, couples and business travellers. garden lovely, good breakfast served on outside terrace really nice.No signature asked for any drinks at bar so keep a careful account as it is difficult to argue the bill. Staff were quite friendly, even tho they had been trained to try to sell tours,ect. room was impressively large, clean and attractive. public spaces are airy and clean--very modern and spare. cold breakfast has a nice selection and layout.As of februrary 2008, this hotel is still in new shake-out phase and is not 100% operational, e.g., the bar is not open and there is no way to open a bottle of wine in the hotel; the phone system is half installed and although it tells you that you have a message, no message exists and the front desk staff capture information only part of the time, frustrating callers and guests; the vaunted hotel media is half there-- only a few tv channels, radio is missing, etc.; staff are unclear about such services as internet access, which is available if you ask for it and find someone who is aware of it; the room we had was short of furniture for its size and shape, resulting in a bit of a warehouse feeling; the heating system didn't respond to user input on the digital keypad; ...
