La Piccola Maison Rome    

Excelent B&B. When I arrive there was someone expecting me (last year in London I had to wait for 40 minutes for someone to arrive). It's really nice, very clean. Someone cleans the rooms everyday. Excelent, almost like a hostel. The only thing that can bother (which they tell you in the webpage) is that since the rooms "look" to Via Venetto there's traffic and noise during the night. I sleep like an angel anyway. Highly recommended.

This hotel is within walking distance of all major attractions and only ten minutes from termini station. The room was big, comfortable and clean. Lovely bathroom.

Pros: Free wifi was great, it was in a really good location and the staff were extremely friendly!

Pros: Overall a very pleasant experience.
Cons: The host promised to provide a password for wifi access. that never happened and i had to use an internet cafe.

Pros: The hotel is very simple, clean and well run. the location is excellent. however, if you are looking for anything more than a clean, safe place to stay this is not your hotel...no frills or extras, but all of the basics are met.

Pros: The manager giorgio was very nice. there was a female employee who wasn't so friendly. well located. clean enough.
Cons: Not really a hotel, but apartments. elevator broken day we arrived. television broken, shower drain constantly clogged, sheets never changed once in a four day stay, no receptionist or help after 14:00. never given new shower gel or shampoo each day. before arrival we were told we would receive a bigger room but once arrived we were put in a smaller one with no discount and when we left we checked out an hour late and were given grief by the female employee.

Pros: Very good location - within walking distance of most attractions and lots of local eateries and cafes
Cons: Air conditioning didn't work and dripping on to tv but fixed next day. no coffee /tea facilities and very noisy during night (sounded like loading of barrels going on outside window)

Pros: The staff were great, really helpful and suggested places to eat and how to get to tourist attractions. room was excellent, very clean and modern. fairly quiet location although not sound proof rooms as suggested. perfect for couples looking for a romantic getwaway to rome. highly recommend!!

Pros: The staff was so helpful and friendly. the location was awesome. we could walk to most major sites. if you're looking for a budget friendly place to sleep--this is the place. it's newly renovated, so it's fresh and clean.
Cons: The room is small and it's on the second floor so if you have problems with stairs or have a family, i would not recommend. the staff is only available during a few hours a day and you'll most likely miss any phone calls coming into your room because there is no "front desk" to transfer calls at all times.

Pros: It was very beautifully furnished and giorgio at reception was extremely helpful and friendly. room was well heated. it was good to have the 'frig. we were given an additional room at very short notice at 100 euros per night --this is a very central location and staff were much more friendly and helpful than we are accustomed to in london
Cons: Traffic noise at night due to central location -- would double glazing cut this down?. no waste bin in the room, no plastic beakers for toothbrushes and insufficent shelves in bathroom -- need shelf for soap and toiletries in shower. as there is no lounge or dining room it would be helpful to provide an electric kettle in the bedrooms but this hotel deserves to succeed because of the helpful and positive attitude of the staff. we are a middle-aged couple -- an older couple might have found it difficult to climb all the stairs.

Pros: Good location - right beside berberini metro station
within walking distance of all sights
Cons: When arrived they made a mistake with our booking and had no room available. they moved us to a different hotel for the night.
also no breakfast included

Pros: When we arrived we were worried as all we saw was a small door but when we entered the hotel part, which is two floors up, we were so surprised it was lovely. we would recommend this to anybody

Pros: The staff is excelent, they were very kind and helpfull
Cons: It doesn't have stairs, and also non fornt desk, no phone at the room, so it is not recommended for families travelling with kids, at least no with strollers
