Pros: Location was excellent, walking distance to everything and close to many consulates so it was a well policed, quiet and safe part of the city. small hotel,personal service.
Cons: The breakfast was fairly basic, mainly as there is no kitchen on site. rooms at the front of the hotel may experience traffic noise but ours at the rear was very quiet.

Pros: Hotel clean, air conditioning good, location good.
Cons: I have emailed separately about this. strong concern about fire safety with only one exit which can be locked from inside and all ground floor windows barred. no staff on duty at night. breakfast was poor and only available from 0830. room very small with 2 tiny barred windows and felt like a cell. extensive graffiti on the exterior of the building. in general not at all satisfied with this hotel.

Pros: The staff were very friendly & helpful, the room was decorated lovely.
Cons: The noise from outside the hotel was very loud so it made it almost impossible to sleep. the hotel only had twin beds which were pushed together which does not make a double bed, just because it has a double sheet over it, and you ended up with a gap between you because the beds moved. we were told all rooms were the same. the breakfast could have had more selection such as eggs or other hot food instead of just cereal & toast mainly.
Cons: The noise from outside the hotel was very loud so it made it almost impossible to sleep. the hotel only had twin beds which were pushed together which does not make a double bed, just because it has a double sheet over it, and you ended up with a gap between you because the beds moved. we were told all rooms were the same. the breakfast could have had more selection such as eggs or other hot food instead of just cereal & toast mainly.

Pros: The location is perfect which made the holiday. room decorated to a high standard. staff could speak very good english. car pick was easy to organise.
Cons: There was no wardrobe space for hanging clothes. the room had no tea/coffe making facilities. so it wa not possible to make a hot drink or to get drinking water when the reception was not staffed which was frequently. we had a late evening return flight and asked the hotel if we could store our luggage for the day but the stff refues saying that the recetion would not be open as it was a sunday. we had to get across rome to the trian station whilist the rome marathon was taking place and this took us up to four hours and spolit our last day.
