Cons: Better to be made aware of payment card charges in advance
Cons: The front desk lady was very rude and not very helpful. 5 of us were traveling together and they had an option for 5 person room. you would think that meant that they had a room big enough to fit 5 people, but that is not what it meant. they took a two person room and crammed a cot and a bunk bed into that room and gave us little to no room to get around in the room. tried to ask the lady at the front desk if they had something bigger or if we could get another room because we had two couples and one single person and the bunk beds were not ideal, and she was not very helpful or sincere about anything. they charged us the same price as if we would have gotten two rooms. they screwed us. then the tv wouldn't work @ all. you got maybe 3 channels out of the whole thing. the dvd player that they say they have is simply a laptop and doesn't work on the large tv they advertise about. the large tv was essentially worthless because you got no channels, and you couldn't play dvd's on it. this hotel would be great if you were a single couple or maybe 3 people, but if you have more than that, then i highly recommend that you go somewhere else, where they won't cram you into a two person room and charge you the equivalent of two rooms. in fact, that is what the front desk lady said, was to go to a different hotel if you wanted something bigger because "this is the biggest room we have". we payed the same price as if we were to get two seperate rooms, because we all wanted to be together, but it would definately be better if you get more rooms for the more people you have. very dissatisfied with the whole thing.
Cons: Shower was terrible and don't use this hotel if you have a problem going up or down stairs.
Cons: A touch difficult to find, but if you have the address on hand, you can figure it out!
Cons: Staff is very rude; hotel has absolutely no services
Cons: Confusing entry (front desk hidden around corner, up tiny lift, down some stairs) no signs directing to front desk.
Cons: The lady on the front desk was gruff and everything just seemed too difficult for her to assist us. we felt like we were intruding on her space. the other staff were very friendly and assisted us with a much more positive experience.
the room was a little bit tired and extremely small for a family of four.
it was difficult to find, so make sure you really study the map before trekking on the streets with your bags.
Cons: Only complaint is the pillows. they were very uncomfortable and when we asked for more, it was not a possibility.
Cons: The room had no window, the staff didn't speak english only italian, they didn't give us extra toilet paper when we asked for it
Cons: Unfortunately the internet wasnt working, and we got a telephone without...cable. i asked the staff to fi the phone but nobody showed up in our room to do it for 2 days.
the iron wasn't available for the guests in the hotel... ;/
Cons: All the facilities that inclined us to book this hotel were not working! such as wirless internet did not reach room, tv was brocken and room fridge not cold... the bathroom was clean, but had a strong urine smell, toilet flush not strong and the running water was so weak. unfortunately, it appears that the maintenence of this hotel is very low priority...we were there for 4 nights and nothing was fixed.
Cons: The room heavily smelled like smoke.
Cons: Very dark room although nice period decoration. no bath only shower. very unhelpful reception staff. on our last morning we had come back from breakfast and there is an internal door to get to some bedrooms which was shut. we pressed the buzzer for it to be opened and although the receptionist heard it and could even see us she continued chatting on the phone for ten minutes. watch out also if you ask them to book you a taxi to the airport. we did this and they charged 60 euros for their own transport as opposed to the 45 the taxi charged us coming. as pointed out by other reviewers the laptop did not work and the tv had no english channels except cnn. there are no breakfast facilities and we did not see any vending machines.
