What you can expect in the surroundings of Aenea Superior Inn Rome
The location of Aenea Superior Inn Rome is exceptional. The Colosseum and Fori Imperiali are no more than an easy five minute walk. Moreover the “Cavour” metro station is approximately 200 meters far and Termini Railway Station around 400 meters distant.
In the immediate vicinity of Aenea Superior Inn, it’s worth a moment to linger along the narrow lanes of the Suburra, the church of Santa Pudenziana and its Byzantine mosaic (this is the oldest church in Rome, it dates back to the third century A.D.; the tradition says that Saint Peter might have found shelter there during the Christian persecution), the church of Santa Prassede and obviously the magnificent and imposing Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.
The “Suburra” – the previous name of this district located on the sloped of the Quirinale and Viminale hills spreading as far as Esquilino hill – was a suburban neighbourhood of ill-fame. Today the district of Suburra is called “Rione Monti”, the first neighbourhood of the city, one of the few places where you can have a real, genuine breathing area.
Aenea Superior Inn, the perfect starting point to enjoy the best of the eternal city!

Reviews on Aenea Superior Inn Rome
In partnership with
so useful to have tea nad coffee making facilities in teh room and to get fresh bread and pastries delivered to our room every morning for breakfast.
Cons: The breakfast was the same every day, after 5 days of croissants we had had enough.
Cons: Nothing
Cons: The hotel was quite hard to find initially, even for the taxi driver as it is part of a condominium
Cons: As with many hotels in rome, be prepared for a big black door and an intercom as your first impression! you don't have to use the scary-looking lift, there's a short flight of stairs instead. we would say the colosseum is a 10-15min walk away rather than 5mins. but really, no complaints!
comfortable and well appointed room.
Cons: No night person at front desk.
awful (scary) building front door - building is shared with other tenants, though.
Cons: Entrance hall a little dark and in need of a lick of paint.
Cons: Had to ask for the towels to be changed, which were of very poor quality anyway. difficult access, tiny lift, three doors to get through to hotel room.
Cons: This isn't a negative so much as a note for new travellers - mnake sure you take the property number of the hotel as we found it difficult to find as first - its not a "traditional" hotel with an open reception area but a condominium in a tall story building - you have to press the buzzer putside for reception.
Cons: No 24 houers reception.
