Sadly our room was unavailable when we arrived. the safe was not accessible for the first 24 hours of our stay and there was no fridge, despite this being mentioned in the description. we are not the first to make this point, yet it appears that the claim is still made.Anonymous

Danieli at reception was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, giving us hints and tips as to where to go and how to get there. also, we booked the "apartment" and it said at time of booking, that there was no in-room safe, but there was. excellent location, walking distance to most major attractions!!!David Ngan

Most of the staff is very helpful and friendly.When we returned for a day after our cruise, we were told the rooms were no ready for another 30 minutes. we left our luggage in front of the rooms that we occupied before the cruise, expecting the same room assignment. however, when we returned to the hotel later, the double room was given to another couple. our friends ended up staying in a room with no ensuite bathroom. i am sure if we stayed and waited for our rooms, we could have got the same rooms. it is not fair that they did this to us.Anonymous

This hotel is an ideal base for a weekend break to rome. it is in an excellent location for all the major sights. the rooms aren't large but as a city base are fine. the staff are very friendly and helpful. we really enjoyed our stay. excellent value for money compared to many of the small hotels in a similar location.Ingeborg Pert

Staff was very kind and helpful! 5 stars here!I booked 2 nights, but had to move to another hotel for my second night as my room was "booked". however, the staff tried to make it as painless as possible, and helped with the move(which was right around the corner). the other hotel was less than desireable for me as there was no lift on the ground floor. you had to walk up steps to first floor where the lift was located.Anonymous

A good,cheap, basic but clean place to stay. we were a family of 3 adn had a 4 bed room and sitting room and shower room - lots of space. breakfast was sufficient and the staff were friendly and helpful.hotel is 2 mins from republica metro and shaded in a side street. fridge was a great bonus.The hotel isnext door to a cafe/restaurant that closes at 2 am and each night we were woken by the noise of that and the bin men going round at 2am. by 2.30 all is quiet....was not a probelm to us as we slept 10-2 and then 2.30 til 7.30 but some people may find it a problem.Slaats

Located on a quiet side street in the middle of town. room was very clean. staff was friendly, very helpful, and spoke excellent english. they have a computer with internet access available for free use. breakfast was typical italian: some fruits, rolls, mortadella, yogurt, coffee. overall, we had a wonderful stay, the b&b is a great value, and we would definitely stay there again!Bathroom is in a hallway outside the room, however that's how the room is advertised. old door locks on bathroom and bedroom doors are loud and a little hard to operate. coffee at breakfast isn't great.
