How to reach the Pinewood Hotel Rome?By train: From Termini Railway Station take metro line A in direction 'Battistini' and get off at 'Cornelia' station (street exit Largo Boccea). Either walk for about 10 minutes in the direction of Via della Pineta Sacchetti, or catch one of the following buses 49 - 446 - 994 from via Tardini for two stops.
By airplane: From the Fiumicino International airport, take the train to the Termini Railway Station. Great staff, very helpful for info on getting to tourist attractions, calling us a taxi when we needed, and restaurant recommendations around the area! 
Air-conditioning broke down on the entire floor we were staying in on the night we arrived so had to be moved around a few times until it was fixed...but they were very apologetic and nice about it!
location also a bit far from the centre...but manageable and satisfactory considering the reasonable price for a room in a 4* place.Anonymous

It was a very nice hotel, the desk managers were very friendly and helped me plan and navigate my trip through rome.It wasn't too close to the center of rome, but the red-line metro was a short walk away. the only other problem with the metros in rome is that there are only two of them, and if you want to see some things in the very center of rome you'll have to walk a bit. it's no big deal, a nice way to get to know the city, but you should know that the red metro line closes at 9:00 pm and from then on you need to take bus 49 which can drop you off right in front of the hotel. te people at the desk in the hotel will tell you all about it.Timothy Ely

We really enjoyed staying at pinewood. staff is friendly and helpful, breakfeast a plus. Location was a little out of the way, but there was a bus right outside the door and it got us straight to the vatican. there are few places to eat around the hotel and you must travel for any sort of night activities.Olga Veismane

The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. even though this hotel was a little further away from where we planned to stay, it was well worth the trip. the staff had many suggestions to share on how to get to the sights that we wanted to see and also recommended some wonderful restaurants. This hotel was excellent! we had a family room to sleep 5 adults. we had 3 seperate bedroom areas and two bathrooms! excellent would definately stay again.It is a little out of the main town, but has excellent bus and metro links, so wasnt really a problem.Anonymous
