Reviews on Pinewood Hotel Rome Rome
In partnership with
Cons: Internet fee, lack of iron, poor & mono-topic breakfast, lack of restaurant
Cons: Breakfast average could have been more choice.
Cons: Some staff were very rude and hesistant to offer assistance.
the room we were allocated was average and was in need of a coat of paint, as the walls were severely marked and scratched.
Cons: The hotel is not a 5 minute walk from the closest metro station. with our luggage it took us 20 minutes to walk, and with out our luggage it took us 14 minutes at a brisk pace (we timed it). the rooms were also very small!
Cons: Needs to have ironing facility
Cons: Air-conditioning broke down on the entire floor we were staying in on the night we arrived so had to be moved around a few times until it was fixed...but they were very apologetic and nice about it!
location also a bit far from the centre...but manageable and satisfactory considering the reasonable price for a room in a 4* place.
Cons: It wasn't too close to the center of rome, but the red-line metro was a short walk away. the only other problem with the metros in rome is that there are only two of them, and if you want to see some things in the very center of rome you'll have to walk a bit. it's no big deal, a nice way to get to know the city, but you should know that the red metro line closes at 9:00 pm and from then on you need to take bus 49 which can drop you off right in front of the hotel. te people at the desk in the hotel will tell you all about it.
Cons: Breakfast too basic & monotonous; noisy ac/heating (room 409); just 2 or 3 restuarants in the neighbourhood
Cons: Location was a little out of the way, but there was a bus right outside the door and it got us straight to the vatican. there are few places to eat around the hotel and you must travel for any sort of night activities.
Cons: Poor lighting over desk in room.lack of light refreshments after hours
Cons: Air conditioner/heater noisy. had to switch it off at night and slept in a cold room. very small shower cubicle.
Cons: The waiter couldn't speak much english and the bathroom was shabby, jacuzzi didn't work, and fittings falling off.
