Restful location, little out of the way but on main bus route (10 min. walk) then 20 min. to termini by express.
Hot water heat wouldn't work, hot water at taps only. no standup shower, cramped with 3 people a little dirty. thin walls, neighbors can be noisy on weekend. you get what you pay for, priced accordingly.

The place was clean
Poorly represented. no jacuzzi as stated, no access to patio as stated, bus was not across street as stated, but seven blocks away. keys were not across street, but 25 minutes away by taxi, which cost us 100 euros. things were changed according to hotel, but easy to book never notified me.

It was great to stay in the monte sacro area, getting a taste of the local markets, restaurants, bakeries...and avoiding touristy places. no english either. the area felt safe and there was a good 20 to 30 minute express bus to termini station. the apartment was new and modern, and was well equipped for a week's stay. the staff were very kind and welcoming.
We had a few problems during our stay. when we arrived at the apartment, it was missing a duvet, and the hot water heater wasn't turned on - good thing we asked! we also didn't have any matches for the gas stove. we noted that the water pressure wasn't that good, but the apt. wasn't expensive. in the morning we (three ladies) wanted to shower. one of us noticed that when we flushed the toilet, water came up the shower drain. i tried to wash out the shower before using it, but the water didn't drain out of the shower stall at all! then, the toilet wouldn't flush down. then, someone from another apartment flushed their toilet, and our toilet overflowed everywhere. so we left the apartment, and called the hotel people. they said they would send a technician. we went about our day, and returned at about 11pm, expecting it to be fixed. no one had come. the apartment was filthy and stinky. we went out to a phone booth again and the owner came over. he decided that we could move into the next apartment, even though it hadn't been cleaned after the previous occupants. we took some cleaner and cleaned up a little. no one ever came to clean it, and we shared 2 towels for 6 days. the second apartment's hot water heater wasn't working properly, and would only stay hot for a few seconds before going ice cold. this apartment would be fantastic if they could get the plumbing straightened out, and make the patios useable. the patios were filthy and had no furniture or plants.

The location of the apartment gave a wonderful taste of an authentic italian neighborhood away from the hustle of the central tourist areas. it was a good value for the money and the locals were very friendly and helpful. the 90 express took us right to the termini and all the buses to various sites around the city.
The water heater would not stay on and treated guests to a cold shower every minute or so. before leaving guests with the key it would be helpful to explain how to turn on the water heater/heater/stove, also a multilingual handout discussing bus routes and check out would be helpful. the apartment does not have a cozy balcony to sit around like the pictures show. but this was overall a good experience and value.
