Cons: No hot water - we had to shower in cold water.
the keyes were changed - and we got a wrong key.
we payed for a room with a balcony - but got no balcony.

Cons: We had a suite for 4 persons(family)it was too small for using the kitchen fasilities when the sofa was in use as a bed, and difficult to eat breakfast for a family witout a proper table. not a good system for leaving the keys at check-out ( go back up all to the 6th floor to loock in the key..)

Pros: Very clean; good location; although staff not on site, they were usually available to deal with problems.
Cons: The room we were put in was not as per the description (ie said it had king size bed and panoramic view - but had double bed and view onto busy street) - however we did manage to move rooms for 2 nights out of the 4; it was a noisy room on the main street; no hot water on 2 occasions; breakfast provided was one very small croissant per person; very pricey for what was included; supposed to be non smoking but we smelt smoke strongly through the air conditioning system from one of the other rooms.

"Lovely room friendly staff"
Pros: Lovely room friendly staff.
Cons: Only the fact there is no one on a recepecion desk. at one point needed to ring for information english speaking lady on holiday and the other lady spoke good french, lucky my daughter was there to interpret.leaving was a bit awkward as you needed to leave keys in the room but still had to get out of the building so it was a case of trying to keep 2 downstairs doors open and getting back up to leave keys.saying that however i would stay again now i know the ropes .once again i would like to say the lady that met us was very helpfull and informative.

Pros: Constanza was very helpful, not only in getting us settled in our room, but giving recommendations for dinner, etc. loved the location for exploring a part of rome that tourists don't always get a chance to see.

Pros: I initially booked for the b&b in trastevere but was quickly contacted the day after in regards to the error in its system which resulted in us booking for a room that wasn't available. this was quickly resolved when we were given an even better option to stay in a 1 br serviced apartment next to pantheon. it was an art deco apartment with intricate, quaint and personable touches. the age of the apartment was overlooked when we walked in and felt immediately at home. location was perfect.
Cons: Hot water supply was cut off every once in awhile; and was quickly fixed when we manually flick the switch back on in the kitchen. a little dusty and could use a more consistent cleaning. we were told to check out by 11 but the cleaners waltzed in at 10:20 to start cleaning.

Pros: Although the owner didn't live in the accommodation, she was very nice and extrememly helpful as we had never been to rome before. on our last day, she let us stay later in the room before we left to go to the airport so we had somewhere to keep our bags

"Nice hotel in a good location"
Pros: Nice hotel in a good location. great restaurants nearby, in random cobblestone streets. easy to get around with buses and trams at the doorstop. when we walked into town (most days) it was not far, and a pleasant stroll. the "big mama club" around the corner had great acts with loads of talent.
Cons: All good.

Pros: We were a little aprehensive of staying here after reading some of the comment but we are so glad we did! in my opinion the best location we could have chosen. walking distance from all the sights and in a antastic area for bars, restaurants etc. lovely well equiped rooms, will be staying again.
Cons: None. {ignore the instructions of travel from termini and hop on the bus 'h'. 2nd stop after crossing the river drops you 50mtrs from the door}

Pros: The apartment was close to many fabulous restaurants and bars and just a short walk over the river to the main attractions. trastevere area was the best for restaurants and eating places. lots of quaint streets with the piazza de santa maria being the main focal point to sit and watch the world go by. the modern look of the apartment was lovely along with the terrace over looking the hills. a fantastic holiday all round!!

"Staff are very friendly and go that little bit more than they need to"
Pros: Staff are very friendly and go that little bit more than they need to.
i've been to rome many times with work and stayed in different hotels and the appartment was as good as many.
central location with two tram lines outside the door. although for example trevi fountain is an easy walk, the tram gives easy access to everything including trastevere station with rail link to airport - no need to go anywhere near termini. cost us (2 adults 2 kids) euro 16.50 to get to fuimicino airport with no hassle at all.
all in all 10/10. thanks to the staff.
Cons: None

"Superb location"
Pros: Superb location. during the day it's peaceful, leafy, tree-lined streets are a pleasure to walk along. there is a good mix of tourists and locals, and everyone was very friendly. at night the area transforms into a bustling network of bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours broken occasionally by the odd boutique shop or market stall. this extends out onto the picturesque riverbank too. it's within walking distance to most of the main attractions, but also there is a tram and regular buses which scoot by right outside the apartment for those feeling less inclined to do things on foot. the hotel is also very very nice. we stayed in the suite which was very spacious, clean, with modern furniture and a really nice contemporary bathroom. we will definitely stay there again.
Cons: Freezer compartment in the fridge needed defrosting as the door wasn't shutting properly. no english channels on the sky tv, except for bbc news 24.

"Little frankie(owner)was very helpful and friendly"
Pros: Little frankie(owner)was very helpful and friendly. supermarket very near by which was useful. you are in 3 minutes walkng distance of lots of good resturants in the trasterevre area (which offer good value as well compared to elsewhere in rome).
Cons: The breakfast comprised a croussiant per person. although there was a coffee / tea machine in the room.

"The room was well set out, clean and comfortable"
Pros: The room was well set out, clean and comfortable.
Cons: This is an apartment style set up (just 4 rooms) and so the actual place is hard to find with a tiny sign on the wall at the entrance)and not a hotel - there is no reception so you have to let them know you are coming so they can meet you and let you in. our breakfast (which is 2 croissants left outside your room) were either stolen or never delivered and once you check out there is no where to leave luggage.

Pros: Great location, loved the fact that it didn't feel like we were in a big hotel. you felt like you were really living in rome, great experience. franko was very very helpful and it was great have such a warm welcome, and then we were left alone to explore rome
Cons: Nothing negative to say, would definitely recommend rome sweet home to everyone that was planning a trip to rome, if i returned i would definitely book it and would go for the room with the balcony next time!
