"This is a wonderful hotel with a very gracious staff"
Pros: This is a wonderful hotel with a very gracious staff. the building is beautifully restored and furnished, close to everything. the room was quiet, comfortable and clean. the room was also unusually large for a hotel in central florence. it was definitely the best hotel on our travel through italy. easy to book was very quick and professional when we needed to change our travel dates as well.
Cons: It would be helpful if breakfast was served a little longer, perhaps 3 hours instead of 2. 7:30-10:30 would have been ideal for us (rather than 7:30-9:30.)

"The hotel was in a great location and suprisingly quiet"
Pros: The hotel was in a great location and suprisingly quiet. staff were friendly and welcoming. the room was clean and spacious.
Cons: The room was not what we expected. the facilities did not really match the description upon booking. the room was out of the hotel and in another building. the room was dark and slightly out of date. the bathroom was the worst bathroom we'd experienced in the whole 5 weeks we were away. it was small, and many things were broken (including the toilet roll holder, the shower screen door and the shower head holder). the shower head kept falling off and hitting me on the head. there was no "jacuzzi shower or bath" as stated in the facilities description. the breakfast was absolutely woeful! after not being able to eat or drink what was presented to us on the first morning we opted not to receive any more breakfast for the duration of our stay.

"Exceptionally polite staff, very helpful with all requests"
Pros: Exceptionally polite staff, very helpful with all requests. no breakfast room so served to your own room was not a problem as visiting as a couple and was a known factor before visit. location couldn't be better for walking to main attractions, nothing more than a 30 minute stroll at most.
definitely recommend the airport transfer service as the hotel would be hard to find using public transport. thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Pros: It was wonderful that they offerred us car service from the airport (for an extra fee) since we arrived at night. the room and bathroom looked just like the pictures on the web. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the location was ideal--walking distance to everything, yet a little out of the way on a quiet street.

Pros: The staff were incredable, very patient and helpful. they made good restaurant recommendations. the location worked out really well for us, near the spanish steps, the metro, trevi fountain and not too far from popolo square.

Pros: Location of hotel was very good and central, metro was at the end of the street and a lot of attractions were within walking distance. hotel staff were very nice and helpful, explained where all sites were in relation to the hotel and recommended nearby restaurants (which were excellent).room was large and comfortable and cleaned everyday and breakfast was brought to the room with a smile each day. we really enjoyed our stay and would stay at this hotal again when we return to rome.
Cons: Hotel was difficult to find initially as in a old building with no noticable sign. could be noisy at night with people walking through corridors. breakfast could have been more substancial although was nice that it was brought to the room.

"When we reached the hotel we were told that our room was upgraded to..."
Pros: When we reached the hotel we were told that our room was upgraded to apartment, it was clean and the staff were extremely happy. as we went to rome first time they helped us with the tourist attractions. the hotel is central and walking distance from trevi fountain and spanish steps and the metro is just outside the street. we loved it cause we could come to the apartment to drop off our shopping and freshen up and walk up the trevi fountain and see the world go by. the food was lovely and many resturants close to the hotel.. the main shopping high street was very close to the hotel. i'd go back to the same hotel and recommend to anyone.

"Hotel location is very good"
Pros: Hotel location is very good
Cons: When we got off the cab we thought the driver got the wrong place bcoz there was no sign of the hotel. it is just a very small name tag on the buzzer. we went up an old elevator - must be over 100 years old and found the front door. the reception area is very small. no comon lobby and breakfast (continental) is brought to your room. this should be classified as bed and breakfast and not a hotel.
