Castello Scandeluzza in Rome enjoys a peaceful location 6 km from the Vatican.

Castello Scandeluzza Rome is one of the most beautiful and fascinating castles from the 1700s belonging to the noble Pellegrini family. It is located 3 miles from the historical centre of Rome. The history and art will permit the guests to relive the legends of this old manor house. For centuries, the castle has been a unique and admired place that has accommodated the most important people in history.

Prince Filippo Maria, the owner of Castello Scandeluzza Rome, will be happy to welcome his guests and to accommodate them in this building full of history. Big lounges and halls decorated with frescos, antique fireplaces and statues made in marble make for a fairytale scenery. A big garden with temples lightened by torches will give you a touch of elegance. Room service is available every day. The linen will be changed every day, and the rooms are also cleaned on a daily basis. Furthermore, the castle features a beauty centre and a gym.

Make your vacation unforgettable by staying at the Roman Castello Scandeluzza with personalized service. A waitress will be at your disposal during your entire stay. The property offers very big and comfortable rooms featuring a fireplace, plasma TV, mini-bar, air-conditioning and a private bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Other facilities of the castle include excellent wines coming from the Prince's cellar, a restaurant for lunch and dinner, medical support, an indoor parking garage, laundry service, Internet connection, a baby sitter and a dog sitter.

"Great value, nice stay. Don't let the initial appearance turn you off"
The hotel was beautiful. When we first pulled up late at night it seemed super sketchy, and we almost left. I'm glad we didnt. Once you get through the white gates its a beautiful historic hotel. Not really a castle per se, but awesome art and statues and decor. The suite we stayed in was $105 Euros per night and well worth it. Had a beautiful bed and nice sitting area. They deliver breakfast in the morning to the room, but just rolls and bread. Nothing special. Make sure you ask for a shuttle or ride to the subway. Once you get to the subway, the options are limitless to Rome.

Our stay in the castle was a real experience, they made our stay really special because they couldnt do enough for us and went out of their way to oblige us .The room was beautiful,The bed was so comfy. The castle was beautifully decadent with so much attention to detail.I would recommend this hotel to families as they are extremely child friendly. And the owner is a Count, who incidently, drove us to the airport. We will definately stay at the castle next time we are in Rome.

We stayed at this hotel not intending to sight-see, and to just enjoy the lovely room and it was the best choice ever! And the one restaurant next door was the best we experienced in Rome!

 "Different but a bit far"
The hotel is a very nice idea , its very clean and well looked after. It physically isnt that far from central Rome but unfortunately the public transport is not great. and more tha a few taxis wok out quite expensive. It was also har d to find staff some of the time. It is also missing some of the normal things you would expect of a hotel such as a wardrobe and telephone in the room. That said, it is a very cute place to stay and the restuaurant next door is a really nice place for dining.

"My girlfriend and i had an amazing experience at this hotel"
Pros: My girlfriend and i had an amazing experience at this hotel. the room was huge and extremely comfortable. it was like being in a museum. there is also an amazing restaurant next door that has amazing fish for very cheap. we will go back for sure and we have decided not to tell our friends about it because we want to keep this gem to ourselves, sorry castello scandeluzza. :d
Cons: The only "bad" thing that visitors should be aware of is that the hotel is outside of rome so unless you have a car be prepared for a journey with public transportation. in our case, we were more than happy to be out of the hustle and bustle of rome and surrounded by the silence of the castle.
