"Our fourth stay at the sheraton golf in rome"

Pros: Our fourth stay at the sheraton golf in rome. its position allows you to feel out of the bussle of the city centre. the facilities are excellent, clean and relaxed. the staff are first rate and helpful in every respect. the free shuttle bus which runs throughout the day, dropping guests off at a very convenient point in the city, makes it easy and convenient to go into rome at any time for any reason, shopping and site seeing during the day or for the open air theatre(s) which run nightly performances throughout the summer season or to eat in any of the very popular restaurants throughout the city. discovering the jewish quarter was a delight for us last year and this year we ate there (much cheaper and excellent quality) in the thriving, bussling atmosphere full of chattering local romans and the few tourists like us who venture off the main streets and honeypot sites to find a different and more local environment.
Cons: The food and drinks are very expensive so we only ever eat there one evening during our stay.

"Location was great"

Pros: Location was great. easy access to airport (for departure the next day) and to rome (with free shuttle).
Cons: We booked two rooms for my family of 6. the first room we went into was smokey. i then asked for a non-smoking room, and they said i was in one. i said the ashtray and smell indicates it is a smoking room! they moved us to a different location. one of the two rooms had ac and the other did not. i complained twice, but no improvement.
