"Hotel was excellent all round"

Pros: Hotel was excellent all round. huge room, helpful staff, extensive choice for breakfast and a good location. colloseum and forum area within easy walking distance. we were delighted with our choice of the starshotel metropole and would happily stay here again

Pros: Staff attentive, concierge fab - regret we missed him to give tip he was so helpful. hotel room luxurious, quiet, clean and service excellent. reception staff incredibly helpful on transport, speedy allocation of room and were delighted to receive an upgrade without asking. treated like royalty during our time in starhotels metropole, will not hesitate to stay again. would recommend to all types of travellers.
Cons: Recommendation by reception staff of alfredos - extremely expensive for contents of meal.

Pros: Good location, nice modern hotel. so much better than the hotel we left the day before for the same money.
Cons: Nothing to complain about (which is unusual as i am a hotel snob!)the only thing was that there could have been a better choice at breakfast.

Pros: The hotel is in a great central location, only 5 mins from termini. the hotel is lovely and we enjoyed an upgraded room for our silver wedding anniversary trip. we were however allocated a twin room, but this was quickly sorted, so make sure you make your room description clear when booking. nice choice of food at breakfast. we would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Room was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. location is excellent, within walking distance of termini roma.
Cons: Internet access was too expensive and the hotel charges twice if your access is not consecutive in a 24 hour period. should be included in the price of the room.

Pros: Renato in the breakfast room is fantastic, pity the rest of the employee cant be as helpful and happy as he is.
Cons: Poor service from front desk for 4 star hotel, they should take a leaf from renato's book. we got bum steer on location of supermarket. poor information on restaraunts, the people just didnt want to help.
