The apartament has a very strategic position, 15 min of walk to colosseum and 10 min to san giovanni laterano, 5 min to next tube station. friendly and helpful staff.recommend to everybody who is hungry to explore rome!28 Dec 08

the apartment was cheap and not very good - which is to be expected.
Use of more than one electrical appliance at a time blew the fuses - constantly!

Good location: close to metro and supermarkets ('emme piu' is on the corner of viale manzoni and via principe eugenio and the slightly smaller 'pam' is on via di santa croce in gerusalemme). more spacious than expected. clean bed and towels.Difficult to find (it is number 8 via s. quintino not number 5 as stated on the website) - email info@ilcastello.com before you leave to provide arrival info. quite dark inside the room (it is semi-underground). had a lot of power cuts, particularly when using the electric cooker, which kept shorting the whole apartment. they only accept cash.01 Sep 08
This place was a bit hard to find so make sure you call in advance and arrange a time for them to meet you but the place was great, central, clean and felt like your own little italian apartment. 25 Aug 08

Studio puss in boots, was excellent value and situated in a prime position, close to the main attractions and the metro. the owner of the studio, was very knowledgeable in regards rome, and took time out to talk about the main attractions, local shopping areas and the transport system, which made our stay in rome more easier and enjoyable.05 Jul 08
