This apartment is situated in the best possible and most central location in Rome. The Spanish Steps area is a delightful area of Rome. it has beautiful shops and delightful cafes and restaurants. This area is in the heart of Rome, safe and great for romance and families. Everything is nearby including shops, cafes and monuments!
No need to take public transport anymore while you are staying here. Just walk out of your apartment, and come back whenever you feel like it. You are in the direct vicinity and a short walk from Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, Pantheon, Trastevere and more. You can also walk up to the Vatican, and Saint Peter's Church, but at the same time to the Colosseum and Ancient Rome area. Because you are in the middle of the centre, and surrounded by all the tourist sites!
How to reach the The Comfort Stay at The Spanish Steps?By public transport, from Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci Airport: Take the Leonardo Express train to Termini Railway Station. From there, take metro line A direction ‘Battistini’ and get off at metro stop ‘Flaminio’. The hotel is at 8 minutes walking distance from the metro station.

Self catering in appartment - just like one of the locals. excellent location in walkimg distance to spanish steps, trevi, vatican [40 mins]. basic but clean and genuine landlords providing descent accommadation. helpful chat about rome, locality and map given on arrival. used airport taxi, and owner was waiting with keys on arrival. good value for money and recommend it for any one happy to make their own breakfast and cup of tea.Anonymous

Great location, off a main street with loads of shops & restaurants. hosts were lovely & helpful, gave plenty of information & directions. spacious apartment, all cooking facilities and nearby to a supermarket also. very secure.No signage out the frontLynn

Fantastic location - in walking distance of many sights. basic accomodation but everything you need and very clean. would recommend itand will be going back.Not a hotel but a private apartment - owner not there to meet us on arrival so we had a scary twenty minutes until he arrived! was then very helpful pointing out good places to eat and how to get to places.Anonymous

Excellent location, very central for all main sitesNo one was there when we arrived so could not get into appartment.
kitchen did not work so told not to use it.
taxi to go back to the airport didn't arrive so we had to sort out taxi ourselves.

Location was excellent as very close to many sights. basic accom but it suited our requirements...did more sight seeing than couch sitting! We were not advised that we had to check out early !!!. we were asked to phone to book our car transfer to airport the day before departure and were then told we had to check out as other people were arriving. we did advise our arrival and departure times. this meant that we had to go to termini train station, book in our luggage and wander around for most of the day before catching train to airport. this was not ideal and would have appreciated being informed of this when we checked in so alternative could have been arranged. so please clarify the arrangements on check in to avoid mixups and inconveniences.reidy

We stayed at the smallest of the available apartments and loved it. (friends of ours, a family of 5, stayed at the largest apartment some months ago and loved it as well)
the apartment was exactly what we needed, no more no less.
not huge, but comfy and cosy, and the location is unbeatable.
michael, the guy who checked us in was pleasant, the place was in good shape and clean.
we never used the kitchen (haha...), too many good places around to enjoy the local pasta and wine.
nice to have your own place right in the city centre, great to be able to walk back home any time you like.
