The small town of Alba Adriatica has less than 10,000 residents most of the year. But during summer, hotels in Alba Adriatica will be difficult to find when up to 50,000 tourists visit this coastal town. They come for the Summer Carnival (July 31 – August 18), the wide, sandy beaches, and the biking or walking path that runs 15 km along the coastline, and for the popular nightlife. Discount Alba Adriatica hotels can be found, though, if you book early. Look on EasyToBook.com for the best deals.
Because the town was officially part of the city of Tortoreto until 1956, there aren’t a large number of historical sights that are unique to the town. There is a 16th century watch tower that remains from when a military watch point was created here. Starting in the early 1900s, a number of large villas were built, including Villa Flajani, Villa Ranalli, and Villa Crescenzi. In the nearby countryside, there is an older homestead to see – Villa Moscarini. Ask at your hotel for the easiest directions.
