Ginosa Hotels and Accommodation

A number of interesting elements come together in the town of Ginosa, located on the Taranto Gulf in the southeast of Italy. Evidence of human habitation as far back as the Paleolithic age has been found here, and visitors can see some ancient buildings, structures, and ruins in the area. Of particular interest are the numerous crypts and caves, many of which were hidden amongst the rocks by hermits over the centuries. These rocky slopes have actually been protected, and classified by the government as the Terra della Gravine Regional Park.
The sea is often what brings visitors to Ginosa for its gorgeous bays ending in wide, welcoming beaches.
