Holiday homes for rent in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage area Valle d'Itria, home to the magical Trulli. These are ancient, conical dry stone buildings, built on ground level and unique to this central part of Puglia province. Our trulli were renovated in 2008 and are located in the countryside close to Alberobello and Martina Franca. Situated on a hillside at about 400m above sea level they provide you with a wonderful view over the valley Itria. There are four indipendent apartament. Each apartments are spacious, all have a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with two-door wardrobes, a chest of drawers and bedside tables, their own bathrooms with shower, washbasins & bidets (towels are provided). A stay in one of our holiday homes will allow also you to take a dip in our sizeable sunken swimming pool (7 x 13m) which is shaded by green cherry trees. There is plenty of space surrounding the apartments which each have their own mini-terrace, with wooden tables/chairs, while the original antique stone yard has been converted into a garden/play area with swings where the children can play. Upon request, you can make use of our lunch and dinner service, which gives you the opportunity to sample the delights of the typical Puglia cuisine.The house is ideal for people who love the sea and countryside, just a 30 minute drive from the beaches of the Adriatic coast, and as easily accessible are the Ionic coast.The closest centers are Alberobello, Locorotondo, nuts and Martina Franca. Other centers of interest are Ostuni, Polignano a Mare, Castellana Grotte, with its underground caves, Cisternino Fasano with its zoo and Safari.Content provided courtesy of the property.
