Candiolo Hotels and Accommodation
Candiolo is a tiny village located in the province of Turin, which also has a town by the same name. Candiolo gives the feel of a small Italian village to the visitor, though it may make for a better day trip, since Candiolo hotels are few and far between. Just a few short kilometers away, however, is the town of Turin, Italy’s third most populous city, and one of Italy’s biggest business centers. Travelers in this region can find many sorts of different accommodations through EasyToBook.com, whether your preference is an old traditional Italian hotel, or a more modern one.
There are several sights in Turin that you cannot miss. The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist houses the Shroud of Turin, the city’s most famous artifact. The shroud is a very old piece of linen with the imprint of a man’s body. It is believed to have been the grave shroud of Jesus Christ. You’ll also want to visit the Palatine Towers, some of the best preserved Roman remains in the northern part of the country. The Palazzo Reale is in Turin, as well. It is the former Italian Royal residence, built in the seventeenth century. Finally, no trip to the Turin region would be complete without a visit to the Museo Egizio. This Egyptian museum is second only to the Cairo Museum in terms of its collection of Egyptian artifacts.
